The Time Vessel Association, otherwise known as the Star Religious Group, was a group of people who worshiped Master Tengen as their God. The Time Vessel association was known to have formed during the Nara period, a time when Master Tengen first preached Japanese Buddhism andthe foundation of jujutsu sorcerers. However, there was pushback from religion at the time which resulted in the foundation of the Time Vessel Association. Since the Time Vessel Association began way back during the Nara period, this means that it has been around for many years. During the “Gojo’s Past Arc” period, the Time Vessel Association grew to be a rich religious group and continued its operations without the public knowing. The reason why they were also called the Star Religious Group was that they recognized and worshiped Master Tengen as the “Star”. As the Star Religious Group grew, and more followers began to join, followers were known as the Children of the Star.

The whole debacle during Gojo’s Past Arc was because the Star Religious group was against the merger between Master Tengen and Riko Amanai, believing that it would be an impure merger since the Star Religious Group wanted to worship a pure Master Tengen. They feared that the impurity would have affected their purity. Since the Star Religious did not have the means to fight this cause, they hired one of the most powerful non-curse users, Toji Fushiguroto assassinate the Star Plasma Vessel- Riko Amanai. Toji realizes that Gojo and Geto are the duo who will be running the mission to protect Riko Amanai and hatches a plan to weaken Gojo because he knew he would not be able to take him on directly. He puts a bounty on Riko’s head on a website for curse users looking to make a quick buck. Toji eventually manages to execute Riko Amanai after temporarily defeating Gojo in a battle. Gojo reawakened and returned for vengeance and ended up defeating Toji but arrived late, as Riko had already been executed. The main members of the Star Religious Group had fled, and the association was compelled to dissolve.

Unlike the Star Religious Group, Q was a group of curse users that was founded more recently and was considerably smaller. They, however, had a similar goal and that was also to stop the merger between Master Tengen and Riko Amanai. Q was also a rival of the Star Religious Group and their perspective on the matter was that they believed that if the merger were to happen, it would reset their cursed technique, resulting in them becoming enemies of humanity. Kokun and Bayer are the only members of Q shown in the series. The twoseem to be mercilessand this is seen when Kokun throws an unconscious Riko out the building window so that she will fall to her death, but she is swiftly saved by Geto. Of course, the duo was no match for Gojo, and they were easily overpowered, which resulted in this organization dissolving as well.
