AGenshin Impactfan has created an impressive concept that turns the popular Electro user Cyno into a Dragon. The game’s community is known for creating various types of frameworks that often use and reshape the appearance and personalities of some of the playable units.
As mythical creatures, dragons are very important in the lore ofGenshin Impact. The game’s first weekly boss is a dragon named Dvalin who was introduced back in the Mondstadt region. The most recent update 3.6 introduced another dragon named Apep, a legendary Dendro dragon that ruled over Sumeru a long time ago.

A Reddit user by the name of Menulia has shared an impressive piece of artwork that shows how the popular Electro user Cyno would look like if he was a dragon. The design features a huge dragon with enormous wings with a piece of cloth that has the same shade of blue as Cyno. Fans seem to like the concept as the post reached over 500 upvotes on the game’s official subreddit with many comments claiming that the dragon perfectly resembles Cyno’s overall design. The Redditor confirmed that the art was also inspired by Akhekh an ancient dragon from Egyptian mythology. Also known as General Maramatra, Cyno plays an important role inthe whole Sumeru storyline, so selecting an ancient dragon to fit him seems fitting.

Even though many consider him to be too young to lead the Matra, Cyno is very dedicated and takes his responsibilities very seriously. The design and story surrounding this character are very popular in theGenshin Impactcommunity. Recently, anotherGenshin Impactfan shared an impressive 3-minute anime shortthat goes deeper into Cyno’s backstory.
When it comes to his power on the field, Cyno is considered a “selfish DPS” which means that he’s only useful when on the field and doesn’t provide any additional utility when swapped out. This means that players need to be careful whenassembling their team composition around Cynoand use supports that provide buffs that last longer than usual.
His limited playstyle might be one of the reasons why many players avoid pulling for him which isproven byGenshin Impact’s revenue reports. However, Travelers that want to add him to their playable roster will, unfortunately, have to wait a couple of months considering that he was recently featured in the first part of version 3.5 alongside the Pyro user Dehya.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
