To get theImp Head (Lion)Helm, you must reach Scorpion River Catacombs. This early game area can be accessed by going northeast of theMoorth Ruinsuntil you reachTemple Town Ruins, then heading north up theRavine North, eventually reaching the Catacombs.
Go down the elevator and interact with the Site of Grace. Head through the doorway and turn left to enter a room with a bridge in front of you. Get to the other side quickly as there is a statue that inflictsDeathblightstatus buildup. Go down the staircase and turn left, mindful of the Imp waiting on the right to ambush you. You will enter a room with stairs on the left side that take you down to a room withBigmouth Imp. If you want, you can deal with this Imp and head south, going down the staircase.
At the end of the staircase, wait, as there will be a spike trap that comes down from the ceiling and can kill you.
As soon as it goes back up, you can proceed forward, getting away from its radius. There is another trap on the right that you must wait out and then hug the wall on the right to approach a ladder. You will know you are in the right spot when you can see multiple Messmer Soldiers towards the northwest, guarding theBlack Knight Captain Huw’s Spirit Ashes.
Where To After The Spike Traps
Climb the ladder and cross the bridge on the right quickly, as there is another one of those Deathblight statues here. At the end of the bridge, if you look in the northeast direction, you will see the side of the wall that you may jump down to and cross to the other side. Go past the statue to approach the spike trap falling from the ceiling. You will need to jump on top of this trap and jump down to the northwest platform, where you can see a corpse with an item. Loot it to acquire the Imp Head (Lion).
