The launch of Season 5 has brought tons of highly anticipated content to fans, including the ability toinspect weapons inModern Warfare. This feature had a place inBlack Ops 4and several otherCall of Dutytitles allowing fans a chance to appreciate their hard-earned skins. The only thing not included is how to trigger the animation in-game.

Videos across the internet have appeared demonstrating the long-awaited feature. Across the board, from console to PC, players need only hold left on their D-Pad to trigger the short two-second animation. The animation is the same for mostModern WarfareAssault Rifles, SMGs, and Sniper Rifles. LMGs have a slightly different effect as do Melee options and sidearms. Players can now see how the light reflects off their favorite skin. They can truly appreciate their hard work in achieving impossible missions inModern Warfare.
This small addition to Season 5’s launch content is one of the most anticipated and requested features in the game. Although a large segment of the community loves thenew Season 5 maps, the ability to inspect personal weapons is almost just as good. With new animations expected in the future, players will enjoy that now they can spontaneously look at their favorite gun.

Earned cosmetics will be even more valuable with the ability to spend a second and admire the crafty design of each item.
Call of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzoneSeason 5 holds two new weapons for fans to enjoy. After unlocking these guns through the Battle Pass tiers, players can now dress them up and immediately enjoy the ability to inspect them mid-game. Although this is a minor feature it makes a big difference when it comes to enjoying well-earned skins and blueprints. Without the ability to inspect guns many players felt like the game was missing a vital component, but Season 5 is bringing back the flair and passion of theModern Warfarecommunity.
