Overwatch 2launches on October 4 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s popular hero shooter will expand on the gameplay of the original title while retaining its core features. PreviousOverwatchplayers will carry over all their skins and cosmetics, as well as a new item pack to bring intoOverwatch 2.
Players ofOverwatchcan gain access to the exclusiveOverwatch 2Founder’s Pack, unlocking epic skins and new heroes. Not every player of the originalOverwatchwill qualify for the Founder’s Pack, and it is possible to miss the chance to claim it for those who do.

How to Get the Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack
In order to qualify for theOverwatch 2Founder’s Pack, players will need to haveowned the originalOverwatchprior to August 06, 2025, at 11 am PDT. Players who boughtOverwatchafter this deadline won’t be able to claim the Founder’s Pack for any reason.
For those players who do qualify, they can redeem the Founder’s Pack by logging intoOverwatchsometime before July 16, 2025, at 12pm PDT. This can be done by launching the originalOverwatchbefore theOverwatch 2release dateof October 4, or by launchingOverwatch 2after that date. Whichever method players use, they should automatically receive the Founder’s Pack, and be able to open it in-game for its many rewards.
What is in the Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack
Players who open the Founder’s Pack will receive several rewards that they can take forward intoOverwatch 2, including a unique Founder’s Icon to prove that they were an originalOverwatchplayer. They will also receive the newOverwatchhero Kiriko, as well as a pair of epic skins:
Finally, players who open theOverwatch 2Founder’s Pack will receive a surprise gift that has yet to be announced. There’s a lot of speculation as to what this gift may be, with suggestions of a new legendary skin, a profile banner, a charm, or a freePremium Battle Pass.
