Chapter 5 Season 2’s start date is closer than ever. To get fans excited for what is to come, Epic Games has released a questline to tease the upcomingFortniteseason’s theme. Players have until the end of Chapter 5 Season 1 to finish the Odyssey questline and complete the Mosaic. This way, players will become more acquainted with the lore of Season 2 as well as the events that will take place between seasons.
This guide will help players complete all Odyssey Quests and the Mosaic Snapshot Quests. On top of this, they will understand how they can complete The Mosaic and unlock the Odyssey’s Origin loading screen.
Odyssey Quests
Gamers will receive 10,000 XP for each Odyssey Quest they complete. On top of this, it will also help them complete one of the Odyssey Bonus Goals.
How to Complete
Spend bars in different matches (10)
Players can spend bars by interacting with friendly NPCs or vending machines.
Stage 1 of 5 - Damage opponents with Rare or better weapons (500)
The easiest way to find a Rare rarity weapon is tosearch a Weapon Case.
Stage 2 of 5 - Damage opponents with Epic or better weapons (500)
The easiest way to find an Epic rarity weapon is to defeat a Legion Tactical Elite near aForecast Tower.
Stage 3 of 5 - Damage opponents with Legendary or better weapons (500)
The easiest way to find a Legendary rarity weapon is to search vaults orclaim a Capture Point.
Stage 4 of 5 - Damage opponents with Mythic or better weapons (500)
The only way to acquire a Mythic weapon inFortniteis todefeat a Society boss.
Purchase items or services (7)
Players can purchase items or service by interacting with friendly characters or vending machines.
Assist in hiring characters (3)
Out of all theNPCs on theFortniteisland, players can hire eight of them:
Assist in collecting Vault Keycards or Society Medallions (3)
There are 12vault locations on the Chapter 5 map. Here, gamers have to defeat vault bosses to take their key items.
Travel distance while holding a Society Medallion (1,000)
Society Medallion locations appear marked on the map; as an orange circle if a player is holding one or as a medallion if they’ve been left out in the open or a Society boss has them. To complete this quest, first, gamers have to find a Society Medallion, and then they must travel with it for 1,000 meters.This quest can be done significantly faster if the player drives around the map or uses another form of transportation, such as a rift.
Mosaic Snapshot Quests
Mosaic Snapshot Quests are separated into three parts, and each one has four stages that players must complete to catalog a Mosaic Emblem and get closer to completing The Mosaic.
The first stage requires players to talk to Odyssey at the Ruined Reels. Then, they must dig Mosaic Caches near landmarks and POIs, and lastly, they will have to catalog one of the three Mosaic Emblems. Here are all three parts of the Mosaic Snapshot Quests and the locations that gamers must explore to gather the mosaics:

How to Complete The Mosaic
The last task in the Odyssey Quests tab requires players to complete The Mosaic. Once players finish The Mosaic inFortnite, they’ll receive theOdyssey’s Origin loading screen, featuring Cerberus.
Gamers will have to complete all Mosaic Snapshot Quests in order to gather the three Mosaic Emblems and fill out Cerberus’s heads on The Mosaic. Then, they have to collect an additional 300 Mosaic Tiles to complete the rest of The Mosaic. To find Mosaic Tiles inFortnite, players can damage opponents, hit weakpoints with their harvesting tool, and open containers - all of these activities have a chance of spawning Mosaic Tiles. If so, they must then approach it and collect.
Gamers haveuntil the end of Chapter 5 Season 1 on March 8 to complete Odyssey Quests; they will be removed from the game once the new season starts.
To complete the mosaic and receive the Odyssey’s Origin loading screen, players will have to complete every Mosaic Snapshot Quest and collect a total of 300 Mosaic Tiles.
