How to Find Oosten Capital in Skull and Bones
Oosten Capital is a significant landmark inSkull and Bonesand serves as a home base for one of the game’s factions - the Dutch Merchant Company. While this faction isn’t naturally hostile towards you, they will, like any other faction, attack your ship should you attempt to plunder their settlements or attempt to sink or board any of their ships. While you won’t be able to set foot on land at Oosten Capital, it is still worthwhile visiting for the goods you’re able to purchase there, or for the items you will earn if you plunder the base. With that said, you will wanta formidable shipbefore considering attacking the faction’s fortress.

It is on the right side of the map and hasa fast-travel pointto the south of the capital, should you wish to quickly move to and from the area.
How to Unlock the Home of Dutch Merchant Company Trophy/Achievement
In addition to being a useful base to purchase and trade goods or plunder, visiting Oosten Capital will earn you one of the many in-game trophies/achievements, called Home of Dutch Merchant Company. While you won’t earn the achievement by simply finding the settlement, it is not a difficult trophy to obtain once you knowwhere to find the base.
To earn the Home of Dutch Merchant trophy/achievement, you will need toeither interact with Oosten Capital or identify it through your Spyglass. Interacting is a simple matter of approaching the settlement and holding the indicated button once in proximity, as you would when you disembark on other islands. Similarly, it is a simple process with the Spyglass as you need only hover the cursor over the entrance to the fortress until the circular indicator closes and information on the settlement pops up on your screen.
