Promises To Keepis a side quest thatcan be found in the Cosmo Canyon Region ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. This particular side quest won’t appear on the Community Noticeboard even after you have completed most of Chapter 10.
In order tounlock Promises To Keep, players need tofinish From Whence Life Flows side quest,after which Bugenhagen will inform them that the security guard at the entrance requires help. After the scholar disappears, players can finally start the side quest.
How To Start Promises To Keep In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Players willneed to fast travel to theCosmo Canyon Village. From there, they can either go to the Noticeboard and accept the job from there, or they can simply go to the entrance of the village and talk to the guard. Before you begin Promises to Keep, it is important to remember that the recommended level for this side quest is 42. But if you are below the level, it is still possible to complete it.
Defeat The Gi Spirits
The quest is extremely simple, and it requires players totrack down the Gi spiritsthat escaped and attacked a wagon. The location of the spirits is marked on the map, so it won’t be too difficult to find them. Once players arrive at the location, the Gi spirits will take control of the enemies nearby and startattacking Cloud and his group. Defeat the enemies, and the spirits will run away to another location.
After chasing them, they will once again take possession of the enemies nearby. Players must beat them to drive them out. The relentless Gi spirits will run again for the penultimate time and possess more enemies. The procedure is the same: give chase and beat them.
When the Gi spirits run for the last time, instead of taking possession of other enemies, they willturn into an Irasceros.This fight is going to be tricky, so verify your HP and MP are full.The fiend is weak to electric, so spam attacks and magic of the same nature. However, as the pressure begins to mount, the enemy will try to lower the gauge. To counter this, you must land three strong attacks. Use Limits, Abilities, or Synergy Abilities to stop it in its tracksand stagger it completely.Once Irasceros has been incapacitated, it’s time to finish the fight. Subsequently, Red XIII will talk to the spirits and reassure them that hewill recover the Black Materia.
