Honkai: Star Railhas revealed it will be making changes to the timing of several events planned for the newly released Version 1.3 update. The third post-launch patch for HoYoverse’s popular sci-fi RPG has brought with it plenty of new content to the game between characters, events, and more. Version 1.3 adds a pair ofnew five-star characters in Imbibitor Lunaeand Fu Xuan, as well as a new permanent area in the Xianzhou Luofu with Aurum Alley. Now, HoYoverse has revealed it will be making changes to multiple events.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 1.3 is set to bring several new events to the game with plenty of rewards for players. The addition of Aurum Alley toHonkai: Star Railwill be joined by the “Aurum Alley’s Hustle and Bustle” event, featuring a new management-style mini-game added toStar Rail. The update also introduces major additions to the popular Simulated Universe game mode, alongside the featured “Swarm Disaster” event. HoYoverse’s newest announcement now confirms players will be able to dive into the patch’s main event even earlier than expected.

A new announcement fromHonkai: Star Railhas confirmed several changes planned for the lineup of events in Version 1.3. HoYoverse would reveal one of the update’s main events, the previously mentioned “Aurum Alley’s Hustle and Bustle,” will feature a change in its lineup, with the entire event’s content available following its launch on August 31st.The Simulated Universe’s “Swarm Disaster” eventwill now begin on September 6th with its content permanently available.Star Rail’s Planar Fissure event featuring double rewards will also see its timeslot changed, now running from September 15th through September 22nd.
The shift inHonkai: Star Rail’s events come as the sci-fi RPG will introduce even more new content to the game outside the new characters and events. Version 1.3 will include a pair ofnew Stagnant Shadow challenges forHonkai: Star Rail, giving players access to valuable materials for the game’s newest characters. The RPG is also gearing up for its technical test forStar Rail’s PS5 version, with the test period launching next week and the PS5 version expected to release in Q4 2023.
Honkai: Star Railhas already seen massive success in the months since its release, following in the footsteps of its predecessor inGenshin Impact. The highly-anticipated RPG would report a playerbase of more than 20 million users within just a day of its launch.Star Rail’s gacha banners have also seen similarly enormous revenue numbers toGenshin Impactas well, most recently withKafka’s banner earning more than 16 million USDin China alone.
