5Rookwood Castle
Gamers get to explore varioussecret locations inHogwarts Legacyas well as multiple castles, but the hauntingly beautiful Rookwood Castle is easily its scariest one. Players will get to explore this beautiful and seemingly abandoned castle after hearing that there was some Goblin activity there.
The Rookwood Castle is a mysterious and dangerous place where players will have to solve puzzles, complete Charles Rookwood’s Trial, as well as fight against goblins including the meanest and most powerful goblin of the Rookwood Castle, Belgruff the Blugeoner. 3Gringotts Bank
Naturally, the Gringotts Wizarding Bank had to be featured in thebestHarry Pottergames, andHogwarts Legacyplayers can also visit Gringotts Bank themselves and get to ride one of those iconic mine carts while traveling around the bank’s seemingly endless underground dungeons and even get to see one of its secret sections.
The Gringotts Bank is operated by goblins so once players use a spell and enter the bank they’ll get to interact with a goblin who’ll help them during their main quest inHogwarts Legacy. It’s one of the scariest locations inHogwarts Legacythat’s somehow even more chilling than the Coastal mine.
2Azkaban
The wizarding world’s dreaded prison, Azkaban is easily one of the most petrifying places in theHarry Potteruniverse. Naturally, Azkaban is also one of the scariest locations inHogwarts Legacy. However, only those players get to visit Azkaban who chose the Hufflepuff House.

Gamers will find the portrait of Eldritch Diggory who will be asking them to go on a dangerous mission. Players will get to explore the bleak and horrifying Azakaban prison, meet fearsome Dementors, and use their deductive skills while investigating one of the most thrilling mysteries of the game.

The Forbidden Forest is easily one of the most popular locations in theHarry Potteruniverse after Hogwarts Castle and Diagon Alley.Hogwarts Legacyplayers can explore this dangerous location and even fight against its most deadly magical creatures.
Even though this infamous forest is taboo in theHarry Potterstories it’s still where many of the most important moments happened. Similarly to the movies and books, players will get to meet terrifying beasts and go on fun side quests, as well as have all sorts of darkly magical encounters while in the Forbidden Forest.
Hogwarts Legacyis available now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, and is scheduled to release for PS4 and Xbox One on April 4, and Nintendo Switch on July 25.
