Hogwarts Legacyis quite easily one of the year’s most highly-anticipated games, with manyHarry Potterfans excited about the opportunity to explore anopen world Hogwarts. WhileHogwarts Legacyis still without a release date, it’s supposedly on track to launch at some point before the year is out, with some leaks suggesting that it will release in early December. Regardless, fans can expect to see and learn more about the game in the months ahead.
The latestHogwarts Legacyreveal took place during the Autodesk Vision Series. The footage from the event has not been released to the public in an official capacity, but screenshots have still made their way online. Some of the most interesting reveals from the Autodesk Vision Series deals withHogwarts Legacycharacter customization, giving fans a much closer look at how they’ll create their character in the game.

Reddit user ProfessionalLivid320 shared a screenshot from the Autodesk Vision Series showingHogwarts Legacy’s character creation at work. It shows thatHogwarts Legacyplayers will be able to choose between various presets when they first make their character. They can also make more minute changes to change theirHogwarts Legacy’s characterto their liking. It looks like the character customization will be fairly deep, giving players a great deal of agency over how their character will work.

If players look at the different customization tabs, they can see a rather interesting icon on the far-right. The other tabs seem to be for customizing one’s character by changing their hair, eyes, etc., but the far-right tab is a Hogwarts logo. It’s probable that this is what players will click on when choosing theirHogwarts House inHogwarts Legacy. Of course, the choices for that will be Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw, and declared by the Sorting Hat just as it is in the books and movies.
ProfessionalLivid320 took to the comment section to point out an interesting detail about theHogwarts Legacycharacter customization screen. It seems the pre-set characters are wearing the jacket that they wear to visit theGringotts Bankwith Professor Fig, suggesting that section will be one of the first things players to do inHogwarts Legacy. However, that’s just speculation at this time, so fans should keep that in mind.
There are rumors that anew PlayStation showcaseof some kind could take place this month or in September, so perhaps fans will get to see more of theHogwarts Legacycharacter customization sooner rather than later.
