The clip was posted to Reddit by user Opposite-Profile7791, and shows the player petting the cat, before using two spells to lob the animal across the grounds of Hogwarts. The player first uses Levioso to lift the cat into the air, before combining it with Depulso to send the cat into the misty beyond.Hogwarts Legacyfeatures lots of spell combosthat players can use in and out of combat, but this was likely not the original intention of the combo system.
It shows the depths of the role-playing potential included inHogwarts Legacythat it allows players to commit questionable acts like this in-game. It could even be combined with mods to make it much more immersive. A recently released mod allows players toplay as Voldemort inHogwarts Legacy, and that certainly wouldn’t look out of place as a part of this clip. Players are continuing to come up with their own ideas for role-playing builds in the game and posting them online for others to use. TheHogwarts Legacycommunity has so far shown itself to be incredibly creative, and they’ll surely be coming up with some incredible role-play builds in the coming months.
Since its release,Hogwarts Legacyhas faced an uphill battle against comments made by J.K. Rowling about the transgender community. It has undoubtedly made it more difficult for Avalanche Software to win over players, but the commercial success ofHogwarts Legacyhas shown that the developer has managed to achieve it.
