In a recent post on Reddit, a user called ven20r uploaded a hilariousModern Warfare 2clip of a teammate getting killed by a care package. Ven20r mentioned that they were simply admiring the smoke effects before they saw a care package land directly on top of their teammate. The other player appeared to have bugged out after dying, and ven20r stole the killstreak on top of this unfortunate event.

They got access to theBomb Drone killstreakwhich allows users to control a drone with an attached C4. Players otherwise need to get four kills without dying to earn the killstreak, so it looks like ven20r didn’t get anything game-changing in the care package. Still, it’s funny to see ven20r immediately go for the care package instead of protecting it for their teammate to return.

One user called this video comically cartoonish, mentioning how the other player was dancing around while trying to avoid getting hit by the care package. Another fan compares the clip to a fish getting caught on a hook, but some players found the video unsettling.

Such beta events usually take place to test out the gameplay and network, and to gather feedback before a game’s launch. Developer Infinity Ward has already released updates acknowledging someissues players have withCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2with plans to tackle them. It also confirmed that some users’ complaints will not be addressed until the full game launches, while other changes will be implemented during the beta period.
