Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream, recently went live inWorld of Warcraft. This exciting content update added a brand-new zone full of activities, achievements, and cosmetics to collect, as well as new chapters of the story. As with most zones, thisnewWorld of Warcraftlocationis teeming with special rare encounters, often featuring challenging bosses and valuable rewards.

To guide players along the journey,World of Warcraftshared a map of the Emerald Dream revealing the location of 18 of the 24 rare encounters found across the new zone. These rares range from straightforward boss fights to special encounters withcharming mechanics unique toWorld of Warcraft, and offer cosmetics, gear, and currencies to players who overcome them. The six encounters not found on the map are mostly Rare Elites that require groups to defeat, but players only need to overcome 10 of these rares to earn Adventurer of the Emerald Dream–one of the new achievements added in Patch 10.2.

In addition to currencies,World of Warcraftplayers can collect new Druid customization optionsthrough some of these encounters. With over a dozen new forms across their various forms, plus deeply customizable Moonkin forms, Druids have dozens of new ways to personalize their different shapes. While many of these new forms are unlocked automatically, some need to be earned via gameplay, including several that can be found via rare encounters and treasures.

Completionists looking to earn the rest of the achievements from Patch 10.2 will also need to seek out the 10 treasures hidden across the isles. While some of these secrets reward uniquecosmeticsWorld of Warcraftplayers have wanted for years, like the wolf cowl from the Reliquary of Goldrinn, players also earn the Forest Lord’s Antlers; an incredible cosmetic helm characters of any class can use.
