Of course, that should come as no surprise for those that are involved in the Xbox ecosystem. It makes sense that fans are getting excited for Master Chief’s next outing, which will put him up against the Banished fromHalo Wars 2.
With the new locations for players to visit andnew weapons fillingHalo Infinite’s armory, fans have do have reasons to be excited. For the past few years, 343 Industries has been adding new content toHalo: Master Chief Collection,which has garnered a positive reputation in the broader gaming community despite its rocky launch. That experience will, hopefully, makeInfinitethe game fans have been waiting for.
PlayStation and Nintendo had their own share of repeat answers, with many fans citing the rumoredLast of Usremake as their most-anticipated PlayStation Games. Nintendo, on the other hand, had a flood ofBreath of the Wild 2featured in the replies, though a few other games made appearances as well, likeSplatoon 3.
All three companies are offering something in the coming months, withE3 2021likely bringing a few more announcements along with it. The gaming world is in an interesting place right now, as global computer chip shortages hinder the ability to make new game consoles, graphics cards, and other components. These supply shortages have made the ravenous demand for the PS5 and Xbox Series X more pronounced, with gamers struggling to get their hands on either console.
As such, the games industry is in a sort of cross-generational limbo, which may end up with developers supporting the PS4 and Xbox One for longer than they normally would. At least in the meantime, fans have plenty of games to look forward to, keeping them distracted from the inability to get a new console.
