Halo Infinite’s campaign is filled with easter eggs for players to find. Some of them are helpful while others are just for entertainment. One of these easter eggs is hidden within the House of Reckoning, as the Master Chief attempts to reach his partner, Echo-216. The mission is a pivotal part ofHalo Infinite’s campaign, and the easter egg is very easily missed.
The House of Reckoning is a mission that’s part of themain campaign ofHalo Infinite. It tasks players with fighting through a few different levels of difficulty in order to reach Escharum, one of the main enemies inInfinite. Each of the levels is similar to a a classicHalofirefight, wherein players have to defeat enemies in waves that grow in difficulty. As players get through the levels, they will find a switch that they have to press to begin the process of revealing the House of Reckoning easter egg.

How to Find the House of Reckoning Switches
The House of Reckoning has three different switches that players need to activate in order trigger the easter egg. The first chamber includes a small structure and some basic enemies. The second room is the one with a large tower in the center of the map, and that’s where the first switch is. Before entering the arena, players should go up the stairs to the platform aboveEscharum’s hologram message to Master Chief. On the wall of the platform there will be a red button. Players should press the button and then enter the arena. Once there, they need to use their grappleshot to get to the top of the tower. It might take a couple tries. The next button will be at the top of the tower.
The final button will be on the ceiling on the far right side of the room. After players activate the switch on top of the tower, they should look around and will be able to see the switch on the ceiling above a metal beam. Using the grappleshot to get to the beam, players will be able to press the button. Once they do,theHalo Infiniteeaster egg will be triggered. Players will then notice that a rocket warthog will be spawned for them to use.
This easter egg is extremely useful. Having something as powerful as a rocket warthog definitely comes in handy during thecampaign battle when Hunters and brutes appearin hoards. Defending the tower can be hard, especially when brutes rush the stairs or when grenades start flying. The ability to move around the map and get to a good position is invaluable, and allows players to get to Escharum as fast as possible.
Halo Infinite’s easter eggs have ranged from dolls to weapons, and they are all welcome additions to the game. Not all of them are as helpful as the House of Reckoning switches, though. While getting to the switches in time can be tedious, it is a task that is well worth the effort.
