In the investigation of the Court of Owls inGotham Knights, players will eventually become trapped in their mysterious labyrinth. Escaping the labyrinth is no easy task, but this guide will explain how to get through the labyrinth, including how to find a way out of the room during a particularly tricky part.

Gotham Knightsfeatures a range of enemy factions that players must face off against during the game, but none are quite so mysterious as the Court of Owls, with their seemingly endless supply of secret facilities and hidden hideouts across Gotham. The labyrinth is easily one of their more disturbing creations, subjecting its victims to a horrid array of death traps and misdirection in attempts to break them. A particularly troublesome part of the Labyrinth is the room with the eerie spotlight in the middle, which requires players to solve a puzzle to find a way out.

On awakening in the Labyrinth players will only have one direction to travel, and the AR vision is broken and sputters helplessly when players try to activate it. This means players will have to be incredibly careful, keeping an eye out for traps and misdirection throughout the labyrinth. Watch for holes in the walls of each hallway, as spike traps will skewer players who don’t crouch under them.

Duck under the set of spikes around the first corner andfollow the path to catch a glimpse of a Talon, then duck under a second spike trap to reach a room with flame traps on the ceiling. Look for the traps that aren’t lit and walk under those, following the path they create to the next hallway. This leads to a dead end, so turn around and backtrack to discover that the Labyrinth has changed its layout.

In this new trap room, players will need to crouch to avoid the head-height cutting blades and move carefully to avoid the larger spinning cylinders that are near floor level. Head for the hallway on the left or right on the far side of the room, past all the spinning traps, to progress. Either will ultimately lead to the same goal.

Dying at any point during this sequence causes the player character to wake up at the start of the Labyrinth, but after heading in they will arrive back at the part where they last died without having to traverse the intervening rooms.

Players will then arrive at an out-of-place table and chairs with a phonograph sitting on the table. This is also where the hero starts hearing voices and, after heading down one of the hallways on either side, see visions of themselves wearing court of owls masks. Duck under the spikes again to find the bat signal, sparking and sputtering. Players will then arrive at Bruce Wayne’s grave.

Continue down either of the paths branching from there to see another hallucination and then reach a room whose contents will differ based on the character, designed to play on their fears. Keep pressing on down one of the available paths, past the hallucination of an injured Batman and under another spike trap, to find a hallway with a door at the end. It will keep moving as the player tries to open it but keep trying and it will eventually open, allowing players to reach a creepy room with a large spotlight in the middle.

How To Find A Way Out Of The Room

After entering the room players should take a closer look at the big spotlight.It has a symbol in the middle of it, and that should match one of the four glowing yellow circles around the room. Stepping on one, or grappling to the perch it is next to, will cause the spotlight to swivel and point at that circle.

Players will need to move to the circle that matches the symbol to make the spotlight point at it. When this happens the symbol inside the spotlight will change, so players will need to repeat the process for the new symbol, until the path out of the room opens up. For players who want the exact order, from the entrance to the room:

This will cause a door to appear leading further into the labyrinth.

The player character will realize they were being gassed in the previous areas, and then be attacked by Talons in the next room. Fight off the Talons to reveal another exit to the room. Head onward into the Labyrinth to trigger another large fight with the Talons. Try to beat three of them with Momentum Abilities for the bonus criteria, since extra EXP is always nice.

Head further into the Labyrinth, past an altar, to find a huge room where the walls are still sliding into place. This is where players will meet a new type of Talon, which wields a spiked club and a shield.These Gladiator Talons are best fought by either perfect dodgingtheir three-hit combo attack or using a heavy attack to break their guard. Take down the Gladiator Talon and in the ensuing cutscene, the Talon will collide with the statue, causing it to crash down and break a hole in the labyrinth. Time to go off script and escape this death trap.

Head through the hole the statue put in the wall to escape the Labyrinth and continue the mission.
