The world ofGhost Recon Wildlandsisvast and varied. Taking place in a drug cartel-ruled Bolivia, there are a lot of provinces to liberate, and a lot of places to explore. Like anyopen-worldgame, vehicles are a huge element in the exploration and gameplay aspect. However, inGhost Recon Wildlands, vehicles are not just for getting from point A to point B.

A lot of them are weaponized armored machines that can lend helpful strategies in finishing missions. Sometimes, when dealing with an overwhelming force of enemies, a vehicle could just be the great equalizer. Ranging from 4-wheeled beasts to predatory missile choppers, here are 10 vehicles that make the game much easier.
Updated on August 29th, 2022 by Patrick Armstrong:Ghost Recon has continued to push the boundaries of its gameplay with each installment. The tenth main series game in the franchise, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, was no different, dropping players into a stunning, expansive, open world to accomplish their missions.
Given the sheer size of the game’s map, the last thing that players will want to do is walk everywhere. Vehicles come to the player’s rescue in this sense, but not every vehicle is created equal. Here are some ofthe best vehicles in Ghost Recon: Wildlands that make the game easier.
14Lama Bike
Usually,a game’s best vehicles are cars, planes, or tanks. Once in a while, they’re something more eccentric. WhileGhost Recon: Wildlandsis, for the most part, a game that takes itself seriously, the Lama Bike does anything but, and players looking to keep things on the serious side will want to give it a wide berth.
What is a Lama Bike? A motorcycle that looks like a lama and leaves a rainbow rocket trail when it boosts away. Though the Lama Bike looks absurd and is only included in the game as a silly easter egg, it is hard to fall off of and is incredibly fast when boosting, two features which make it shockingly useful given its ridiculous appearance.
13Killdozer
There are ordinary bulldozers the player can drive, if they feel the urge to do a bit of construction work in between their black-ops missions, but there’s an upgraded option for players who want something a bit more extreme.

The Killdozer is an armored bulldozer, outfitted with enough shiny metal that it’s impossible to miss, as if its massive size didn’t already guarantee that. Given the large and shiny target it poses, the Killdozer is the antithesis of stealth. That said, it’s big and heavy enough to muscle almost any other vehicle off the road, and with armored plating and crew positions for the rest of the team to perch, the Killdozer makes for a fun and unique battering ram.
12Lamborghini
Another vehicle that flies in the face of covert ops, the Lamborghini is all that it’s promised to be: glorious Italian muscle and grandeur with absolutely zero subtlety. There’s no chance that the crew will blend in with the locals while driving this, which is probably its biggest downside.
On the other hand, the Lamborghini is exceptionally fast, so for players who want to rocket around (and plan on sticking to the roads), this ride is one of the best and coolest options available, letting the player cruise through thisfantastic third-person shooterin style.
11AMV
The AMV is a mix between a buggy and a jeep, so it’s perfect for operatives who have off-roading in mind. Given how much ofGhost Reacon: Wildland’smassive open world map is off-road, the AMV has more chances to be useful than some of the other, flashier vehicles.

The AMV is on the larger size, with enough room for a teammate to work the mounted minigun, shredding through lightly armored enemies in an instant. The combination of off-roading capability with built-in firepower makes the AMV a much more practical and useful choice than many other vehicles in the game.
10Armored SUV
The Armored SUV is a beefed-up four-wheeler that can withstand a lot of damage. This heavy ground unit also does excellent damage when ramming enemy vehicles. As impenetrable as a safe, this also becomes its offense. On top of that, literally, is a manned Gatling gun that mows down the opposition like a chainsaw through sticks. It’s also effective in taking down air units as well.
The downside to this mammoth is that with all its armor, it weighs down heavily on mobility. This vehicle can be attained by doing six rebel side missions for the vehicle drop-off perk.
9Helicopter
The helicopter is a highly maneuverable yet vulnerable air unit. It gets the ghosts places without worrying about any buildings or mountain terrain to hurdle across. This unarmed unit is very agile in the air, and can immediately get out of enemy sight once it starts to be detected. This serves useful in some main campaign missions like the final El Sueño mission wherein a helicopter can be used to fly over hazards and hurdles. The same goes for some side missions. This vehicle can be obtained by doing nine rebel side missions for the vehicle drop-off perk.
8Gatling Chopper
The Gatling Chopper is just the helicopter but with Gatling guns built on each side. Though it isn’t armor-plated, it does have a means ofdelivering some serious firepower. The pilot of the chopper also controls the two mounted guns which fire directly in the direction the chopper is facing.

As a result, it is effective and deadly even in the hands of one operator; making this chopper a viable tool for an air-support role. Its mobility, small hitbox, and forward-facing guns make it great for taking out bigger air units as well.
7Armored Jeep
This armored 4x4 is a versatile ground unit that may not have the impenetrability of a bulletproof money truck, but it has the mobility of an offroad pickup. It is an averagely armored vehicle with average speed; and a cherry-on-top Gatling that makes it a well-rounded vehicle. Unlike the armored SUV, this jeep has great offroad performance allowing for quick getaways as well. It’s also mobile enough to go zooming down highways, shredding enemies as it drives-by.
6Armored Buggy
This Armored Modular Vehicle (AMV) is a mobile and lightweight machine that excels on all terrain. Its speed and acceleration is excellent for an armor-plated vehicle, and the Gatling installed comes in handy in case off-road escapes don’t work as expected. It also has amazing handling; allowing the driver to perform cool drifts and sharp turns.
The armor on this thing may be light, but it’s highly effective in keeping the vehicle from being destroyed. As for the lack of bulletproof windows and windshields, it leaves the occupants vulnerable to attacks. On the other hand, it provides them less clutter to operate with.
5Black Hawk
Though the Black Hawk may not be as mobile as the smaller helicopters, it takes a lot to bring it down. These are the types of helicopters that everyCall Of Dutycampaign player shoots a Gatling from before crashing. InGhost Recon Wildlands, on the other hand, whether this thing crashes or not is up to the player pilot.

The Black Hawk has two manned Gatlings, one on each side. Some variants have pilot-controlled seeking missiles to counter vehicles of all sorts. Though tough and deadly, it needs at least three people to utilize its maximum potential.
