Genshin Impactwill host an offline event in July 2023 that will bring it and a fan-favorite region to life.Genshin Impactis a fantasy open-world RPG game with gacha elements developed by HoYoverse, the developers that are also behindHonkai: Star Rail. This popular game has set a new standard for modern gacha games, andHoYoverse surpassed PlayStation in profitsback in 2022. On top of continuing to create content forGenshin Impactand develop new games such asHonkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse is exploring new territory outside of its in-game world.
HoYoverse recently confirmed thedate and time forGenshin Impact’s 3.8 Special Program LivestreamviaGenshin Impact’s official Twitter account. It will feature details of new game content and development for version 3.8. with redemption codes and other prizes for viewers. It will be available to stream onGenshin Impact’s official YouTube channel on June 23 at 8 AM. HoYoverse regularly hosts virtual events forGenshin Impactwhether in-game or online, but its next destination will be offline in July.

HoYoversewill be hosting its offlineGenshin Impactevent Paimon’s Food Fest at Anime Expo 2023 from July 1 to July 4. Its two officially announced events Liyue Cook-Off Challenge and Liyue Harbor Check-In may bringGenshin Impactto life as players can join a cook-off withLiyue’s famous chef Xianglingin-game.Genshin Impact’s booth will resemble Liyue, a region heavily inspired by China, and will feature characters Xiangling, Hyeyoung, and more. The booth will be located in Entertainment Hall E-08 at Los Angeles Convention Center.
Attendees will have the chance to win exclusive prizes and purchase merchandise such as stickers ofGenshin Impactcharacters in chibi form and Paimon balloons.Genshin Impactwill also collaborate with Pixiv, a Japanese-oriented online community for artists, at the convention. OfficialGenshin Impactconcept art will be displayed alongside fan art. The gallery will be located in Exhibit Hall No. 4506.
This is not HoYoverse’s first attempt at dabbling outside of the game. The company recently teased itsupcomingGenshin Impactanime adaptationwith a video featuring various locations in Liyue. Ufotable, the creators behindDemon Slayer, collaborated with HoYoverse to create the promotional video. Its latest RPGHonkai: Star Railwas released back in April 2023, but it shows no signs of slowing down with its hit open-world RPG gacha gameGenshin Impact. AlthoughGenshin Impactshares many similarities to HoYoverse’s latest title, it continues to appeal to fans that prefer whatHonkai: Star Raildoes not offer.Genshin Impactcaters to players who prefer real-time action combat, an immersive open world, and an earthy feel overHonkai: Star Rail’s cybercore aesthetic.
