This free offering is in celebration ofFortnite’s transition to next generation consoles. This month players will be able to start playing the game on their PS5 or Xbox Series X, so to commemorate that Epic Games is giving away this keepsake that represents the game’s roots.

Claiming the OG Throwback Pickaxe is easy and quick, but players do have a limited amount of time to do so. The offer expires on Jul 18, 2025, so while there’s still time, it would be in fans' best interest to get online and claim it now. The pickaxe can be found in both theFortnitein-game storeor the PlayStation store.

Head to the add-ons section (in the PS Store) and find the OG Throwback Pickaxe in the options.
