Fortniteis currently in the middle of Chapter 4, Season 2, and has finally made its promotional outfit available for Battle Pass owners to earn by completing various challenges. The character outfit this season isEren Jaeger, protagonist of theAttack on Titananime and manga, and comes with other themed cosmetic items.
These extra items can be earned by completing specific challenges, and one includes a very specific reference to the show/manga. The challenge involvesfinding the Jaeger family basementon theFortniteBattle Royale map. This guide will help players travel straight to the basement without having to search high and low for it.

Jaeger Family Basement Location in Fortnite
The challenge listed on the quest menu does give somewhat of a clue as to where the basement is. It is located inAnvil Square, the little village situated near the middle of the map. There are a lot of buildings in Anvil Square, but thankfully the basement is not hidden well enough to cause players to go door to door.
The specific building that contains the basement is the two-story house in the southeast corner of Anvil Square. The house contains a patio leading up to an entrance and another set of stairs within an open alcove.
Completing the Quest
The basement will be located inside the alcove on the right side of the house. Simply walk into the alcove, and there will be a different set of stairs on the left going down into the basement. All players need to do is walk through the basement door to trigger the quest as completed.
There are no items to interact with or other objectives that need to be completed. Just physically being in the basement is enough, which makes this quest perfect to complete at the beginning of a match before other players can gear up beforehand.
The quest will reward players with theBasement Key Back Blingandprogress towards earning the Eren Jaeger outfit. While the quest is a direct reference to the Jaeger family basement in the anime/manga, there are no spoilers attached to the objective that would give away any plot points for players that are not familiar with the source material.
