Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniais set to bring theAnt-Mantrilogy to a close. Ahead of its release, three new clips for the film have been released, and they tease a story fraught with tension between Scott (Paul Rudd) and his daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton).

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniais set to focus on Scott’s newfound fame followingAvengers: Endgame. In the years since the battle against Thanos (Josh Brolin),Scott Lang wrote a memoir(which is now real and available for sale) which chronicled his time with the Avengers. As a result, Lang has become a bonafide celebrity, being responsible for much of what the public knows about the Snap.

The first new clip was posted onYouTubeby Rotten Tomatoes Coming Soon. Entitled “I’ve Never Had a Normal Life”, the clip features Scott having a conversation with Cassie and Hope (Evangeline Lilly) while on a drive. Evidently, Scott is displeased with the idea of Cassie going out in a super suit of her own - which he didn’t even know she had. Scott tells his daughter that he wants her to have a normal life, prompting Cassie to remind him of her colorful childhood. Humorously, it turns out that Scott’s been listening to his own audiobook, to Hope and Cassie’s consternation.

The nextYouTubeclip is simply titled “Satellite”.Quantumaniapreviously promised a “bonkers” trip into the Quantum Realm, but it doesn’t look like the trip is an intentional one. In the clip, Cassie is revealed to have been working with Hope and Hank (Michael Douglas) on a satellite that could be sent into the Quantum Realm to explore and catalog its mysteries. Despite Janet’s (Michelle Pfeiffer) insistence that it’s too dangerous, Cassie, Hank, and Hope insist that the satellite is the safest way of exploring the Quantum Realm without actually entering it.

The finalYouTubeclip is titled “I’m an Avenger”, and it’s the biggest of the three. The clip appears to be the first meeting between Kang (Jonathan Majors) and Scott Lang. Lang warns Kang that he’s made a mistake imprisoning him; he’s an Avenger, he points out. Kang, however, shows whyhe might be a bigger threat than Thanos: he’s revealed to have faced the Avengers numerous times, having killed a number of them over and over again, including Thor (Chris Hemsworth).

Quantumaniais already poised for a solid opening weekend, but these clips are even more promising. Majors has already shown off his performance as Kang inLoki, but here he portrays a very different variant: one that’s vicious and ready to do whatever is necessary. And fans also get a glimpse at Cassie’s role in the film - it looks like she’ll effectively be a main character alongside her father, with whom she has some stuff to work through.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniahits theaters on February 17.
