Reaching the hidden supplies inFar Cry 6’s “The Long Drop” Treasure Hunt can be a bit of a process. While mashing buttons and pulling switches may work in otherFar Cry 6Treasure Hunts, it won’t do much for this one.

“The Long Drop” takes place at a dam in La Joya sub-region. Dani can either warp to one of the surrounding Checkpoints and Air Drop, or they can travel by land.
The Long Drop Treasure Hunt Location
Follow the purple Treasure Hunt icon and read the note in the orange box. The door next to it holds all the supplies, but as players may have figured, it’s locked. However, the sluices of the bridge are broken and players will need to use their grappling hook to cross the bridge.
Head towards the building on the other side of the dam and there will be someone crying for help. Players will notice a man hanging from the broken boardwalk. Don’t attempt to look for ways to save him since he’s an NPC scripted to die. Fortunately, all Dani needs is their key, and their body just happens to be dangling from one of the grappling hook cables. Don’t reach for him now or Dani will be swept up in the currents and will have to walk back up to the dam.
Use the grapplehook and reach the building. This door is locked too, so climb the roof and jump to the other side of the building. Look into the barred window and shoot the lock on the door. Climb back over and now players can enter the building.

There’s an alarm here, so destroy that. If Dani goes to the control room, they can find a note detailing theorder of switches that need triggering.
If this was done right, the dam should close. If any switch was pressed out of order, start over.
Finally, return back to the man and grapple down so Dani can take his key. Climb back up and return to the first building. Use the key to collect the rewards. Pick up any resources/materials that may be lying around too. The big reward for completing this Treasure Hunt is one ofFar Cry 6’s unique weapons, the Excavation Execution shotgun.
