Leaders are supporting the team more often than supports are supporting the team inEvil Dead: The Game. How can that be? Well, it’s actually not that complicated. They have an aura active all of the time. Supports give players an occasional jolt every so often, but leaders deliver their benefit without cooldowns.

But most players won’t recognize that the leader inEvil Dead: The Gameis actually so skilled because… they aren’t. Without a good build, the leader is just another survivor, killing deadites no better than an AI. Forget that. Use a superior build and get recognized for these contributions.
Show Up And Blow Up
Active skill that generates an explosion, damaging enemies' balance bar.
El Jefe
An aura that affects all survivors within range, increasing their fear resistance and the damage they inflict.
Start the match with a chainsaw.
El Jefe Grande
Enhances your aura’s effects when you perform a finisher or dismember an enemy.
One leader gives a damage bonus aura to melee weapons. Another gives a damage bonus to ranged weapons.The best leadergives a damage bonus to all damage. If that’s not enough, this aura also cuts down on fear gains, nearly eliminating it as an issue for the entire team.

This aura already the statistical best aura, gets even stronger when Ash performs finishers, so prepare to engage in a good amount of melee combat. The active skill for Ash will deal damage and stagger enemies, useful when getting overwhelmed
Skill Tree
Since Ash has the best aura in the game, there is little reason not to invest all the eggs into that basket. The stronger that aura is, the stronger the entire team is, and that is better than any individual skill. Go for the increases to aura, aura strength, and lasting aura for teammates that wander a bit too far.

In addition to these aura skills, two more perks, Fast Forward and Industrial Strength, are considered amongthe best leader skills in the game. Fast Forward enhances the leader’s support abilities by cutting down on times to capture objectives. And Industrial Strength is raw health; since Ash is going to be on the frontlines, he’ll need it.
Don’t fret about skipping the damage perks. They’re nice, but other teammates deal damage. Besides, Ash has an incentive to keep enemies from dying too quickly; he needs them alive to perform his finisher and buff the aura further.
Upgrades
Leaders have more flexibility when it comes to upgrades because none of them contribute to either their auras or active abilities. The best bet will likely be to focus on survivability with health, shields, and stamina since a dead leader isn’t all that helpful to the squad.
Next, a few points in fear stack with Ash’s aura to completely neutralize it above its already hampered capabilities. Finally, melee combat is more important than ranged combat due to Ash’s finisher boost, so prop that up first.
