Cipher Pata Location in Elden Ring

Finding Cipher Pata is not that difficult; players can find it at the Roundtable Hold. At the Roundtable Hold, players will need to head to the balcony and jump down the floor below. Moving towards the far doors, they will be met with Mad Tongue Alberich,an NPC invaderwielding the Staff of the Guilty and a Scythe. Mad Tongue Alberich can cause blood loss and frost buildup, so players need to be quick on their feet while dealing with him.

Once he is defeated, players should go through the doorway on the left side of the hall. Doing so, they will reach the final room where Cipher Pata will be lying on a bed.

Using Cipher Pata

Cipher Pata is a fist weapon, and it scales with Faith. It is capable of completely bypassing the enemy’s armor and, as mentioned above, deals holy damage.

Cipher Pata’s art or skill is Unblockable Blade, meaning its attack cannot be blocked. To strike with Cipher Pata, players need to draw the blade back and then quickly stab forward. Being an Unblockable blade, Cipher Pata can be used to deal some serious damage. It is a fist weapon, so players can dual-wield Cipher Pata.

While being one of a kind, Cipher’s Pata only deals holy damage. This means it may be useless against enemies who areimmune to holy damage, so it is always a good idea to carry a backup weapon just in case. Holy damage is a kind of elemental damage and is effective against Crabs, Albinaurics, and Undead. On the other hand, it’s ineffective against Erdtree Avatars, Black Knife Assassins, Royal Revenants, Bell Bearing Hunters, many Shardbearers, Cleanrot Knights, Omenkillers, and a few others.

Players can upgrade Cipher Pata withSomber Smithing Stones. Using the Cipher Pata propels the player forward by approximately two meters. Players cannot infuse it with Ashes of War, nor can they buff it with magic or consumables. If players want to sell this weapon, they’ll get 500 Runes for it.
