A new Star Path forDisney Dreamlight Valleyis on the way, and it looks like players will be helping Elsa and the rest of theFrozencast. The life sim featuring an expansive list of Disney characters is set to get its official launch on December 5 and plenty of fans are ready to finally see the game enter a new phase. While the announcement thatDisney Dreamlight Valleyis delaying its free-to-play model indefinitelyhas somewhat dampened the mood of the community, there are still plenty of players that are eager to continue their journey through the titular magic valley.
During the time it’s been in early access, Gameloft’s Disney adventure has already rolled out tons of content and shined the spotlight on numerous settings, characters, and stories.Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas shockingly overlooked some classic movies, but it’s still managed to include plenty of beloved franchises. Now, as the title finally releases officially, it’s getting a new Star Path that will feature more popular characters.
In a tweet from the officialDisney Dreamlight ValleyTwitter account, it was revealed that a new Star Path is set to premiere in early December. The announcement was posted on November 21 with the promise that the Star Path was coming in two weeks, which would place it in the first week of December and, possibly, on the very day that the game leaves early access. It also featured a series of emojis, including an ice skate, a butterfly, a snowflake, and a raccoon. All of this strongly indicates that this Star Path will be built aroundFrozen.
Unlocking and completing Star Paths inDisney Dreamlight Valleyis a core part of the experience and the introduction of new ones is always a cause for celebration among players. Previous Star Paths have featured broader themes like Halloween or Pixar films but, until now, there hasn’t been a path focused on a single franchise. It looks like this could change in December.
Given the popularity ofFrozen, as well as the fact that the game officially launches at the beginning of Winter, this theme for a new Star Path certainly makes sense. While some may think that there are someobscure Disney films that should be featured inDisney Dreamlight Valley, kicking off the official launch with a major fan favorite is probably the safer way to go. Gamers will have to wait until next month to see how this new Star Path and the end of early access pan out for the title.
