Disney Dreamlight Valleyconstantly adds new updates that allow players to decorate their valley in new ways while also befriending many famous characters, like Rapunzel, Donald Duck, and Remy the master chef from theRatatouillemovie.
Speaking of updates,Disney Dreamlight Valleyjust launched The Lucky Dragon update that brought the Mulan Realm. In this new area, you’re able to meet Mulan and her sidekick Mushu. To unlock Mushu as a villager, you need to complete the Clearing the Road quest. Read on to find out how to complete this quest inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete Clearing the Road
Clearing the Road begins after the cutscene at the end ofthe Dragon Army quest. In addition to the Dragon Army, you will also need to completeA New RecruitandThe Defender’s Trainingquests to unlock it.
After you finish the ‘Protecting the Camp’ quest, follow these steps:
Collect Wooden Logs
After you talk to Mushu, go to the landslide area outside the Camp. Here, you need to build a fence to protect the road from mishaps and disasters in the future. For that, you will have to:
Pick up Wooden Logs from the area outside the training camp just like you collected them earlier in the Protecting the Camp quest. You’ll find some logs under the trees, while others will be floating in the water. Use theRoyal Fishing Rodto catch the ones in the water.
Build and Place the Wooden Fences
Next, go to the Crafting Station inside the camp and go to the ‘Fence & Paving’ category. Now simply choose ‘Wooden Fence’ to craft four Wooden Fences.
Once done, place them at the base of the mountains where Mushu is waiting for you. In the next part, follow Mushu to the bridge at the entrance so he can send a signal.
Build a House in the Valley
Now, you need to build a house for Mulan and Mushu in your valley. Go back to Dreamlight Valley, enter the ‘Furniture’ mode, and place their home. Then, interact with Scrooge McDuck’s sign and pay him20,000 Star Coins.Once the house is built, you will unlock Mulan as a villager.
Find Mulan’s Key and Open Mulan’s Chest
Return to Mulan’s realm and talk to Mushu. He will give you the Dragon Statue furniture item and tell you that Mulan left a chest for you, but he lost the key, so now you have to find it. To get the key,go to the carts outside the camp areaand pick it up from the ground. Give the key to Mushu and open Mulan’s chest. You’ll get theDefender’s Swordfurniture item, and Mushu will join you in Dreamlight Valley.
