Disney Dreamlight Valleyallows players a range of activities such as fishing,farming, and even cooking meals for its residents in Chez Remy, a restaurant owned by the famed rat chef. Players will also unlock a ton of quests for each of the Village’s residents by raising friendship with that character through gift-giving, conversations, and having them accompany the player in specific activities.
Many of these activities also count toward completing special tasks known asDreamlight Duties. These duties provide the player with opportunities to earn Dreamlight, an in-game currency that is essential for unlocking new realms within the game and is used in a variety of crafting recipes, such as those thatcreate special elixirsthat aid the player when gathering resources.

Disney Dreamlight Valleyfeatures multiple types of Dreamlight Duties for players to complete. Some of these duties offer a rotating selection of daily challenges, such ascatching three fishor cooking two meals. Others are cumulative, where the player unlocks new tiers by fulfilling specific requirements over time.
How Do Seasonal Dreamlight Duties Work
There are also special Dreamlight Duties that are tied to specific in-game events, includingDreamlight Valley’s versions of Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. During these periods, the player can complete unique tasks that often require seasonal items. One such seasonal Dreamlight Duty is"Complete a 3-Course Halloween Meal."
This duty can be found in the Village category in the Dreamlight menu. While the task is available year-round, it requires the player tocollect special, limited-time itemsduringDisney Dreamlight Valley’s Halloween event. Once collected, these items will not expire in the player’s inventory or storage, making it possible to complete the task at any time after the event. This is unlikeStar Path dutieswhich can be completed only during the event period.

The name of this duty can be confusing, as players might assume that this task is related tothe game’s cooking feature. However, that’s not the case. The actual objective is different and revolves aroundcollecting seasonal candies. Here’s what players need to do to complete this seasonal Dreamlight duty inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
How to “Complete a 3-Course Halloween Meal”
To complete the seasonal Dreamlight Duty “Complete a 3-Course Halloween Meal,” players mustgather and eatone of each of three specific candiesthat are available only during the Halloween event. These candies can be found in Halloween-themed buckets scattered throughout the Plaza.
Each bucket is color-coded: blue buckets drop Purple Candy, red buckets drop Red Candy, and green buckets drop Green Candy. Players need to locate these buckets, collect one of each color candy, and consume the candies to complete the task.
If the player faces difficulty in finding or reaching a candy basket,switching to Furniture modecan be helpful. This mode allows players to move any outdoor objects that may be blocking access to the candy baskets. Rest assured, the event provides an abundance of candies, eliminating the need for frequent log-ins to find the right color candy.
Once the player has obtained and eaten all three candies, they will complete the seasonal Dreamlight Duty “Complete a 3-Course Halloween Meal,” earning the exclusive furniture itemGreen Trick or Treater’s Bounty. This item is automatically added to the player’s Furniture menu upon completing the task.
