Woody and Buzzlight Year were added toDisney Dreamlight Valleynot long after Early Access began. Just like with every character in the game, they both have a series of friendship quests that tell a story about them. While these friendship quests seldom have anything to do with the main story ofDisney Dreamlight Valley, they are still worth doing for the rewards.
After returning to Dreamlight Valley, Woody is struggling to find a way to help others. In the quest Failing Better, it is up to you to help Woody complete tasks that are a little too big for him to manage.
Talk to Remy
After starting this quest,find Remyand talk to him. Apparently Woody’s attempts at cooking were not great. To prove his point, Remy gives you the two meals for you to try. Unsurprisingly, both meals are awful. Once this step of the quest is done, talk to Remy again. After that, the next step for this friendship quest will be to return to Woody and speak with him.
He will give you two recipes for the food that he was trying to make. The two recipes are forVegetarian Pizzaand Cheesecake. In order to make the Vegetarian Pizza, you will need two vegetables, one cheese, one tomato, and one wheat. Cheesecake can be made with one cheese, one wheat, one sugarcane, and one fruit. After making these two meals, bring them to Remy. Next, you will have to speak with Woody.
Gather Ingredients for Goofy
Follow Woody to Dazzle Beach and talk to him. He needs help catching three Cod and gathering three Wheatfor Goofy. Cod can be caught by fishing in Dazzle Beach and Wheat can be grown from seeds purchased in the Peaceful Meadow. Luckily, neither of these items are particularly hard to get. Understandably, all of these ingredients are far too big for Woody to take them to Goofy, so you will have to make the delivery.
Return to Woody
Once the delivery is complete, head to Woody’s Carousel and talk to him again. He needs help clearing out the junk inside. Simply go in and interact with each pile to get rid of it. Upon removing all the junk piles, a memory will appear in the middle of the room. Interact with it to restore Woody’s memories of what the Carousel was once like prior to the Forgetting. As Woody decides the best way to help Dreamlight Valley is by restoring the Carousel, the quest ends.
