The lengthy and challenging puzzle inside ofDestiny 2’sCorridors of Time finally came to an end this past weekend, with the communityfinding the correct sequence to follow. While many fans were hoping for the return of a classicDestiny 1exotic item or something really unique, it turns out the ultimate reward for this was the previously revealed Bastion fusion rifle.
Unfortunately, the majority of the community wasn’t satisfied with this new weapon. While rumors and speculation certainly created a lot of anticipation, the main issue appeared to be the fact that unlike the surprise of the new and challenging activity, the reward was well known months in advance when theroadmap for Season of Dawnwas originally revealed. In addition, the Bastion was promised for January 28, which created a further disconnect between Bungie and its community.

Speaking of exotics,Destiny 2’sexotic merchant Xur has returned once again with four exotic items up for purchase. Follow this guide for his location as well as a review of what he’s currently selling for the weekend of Jun 27, 2025.
Where is Xur?
For this weekend, players will need to head to The Rig on Titan.
Fast travel over to The Rig and start running to the back of the zone near the entrance to the Solarium. In the northwest corner of the more open section of The Rig, Xur is hiding out in a small house where the Hive and Fallen sometimes battle each other.
Class Armor
Keep in mind thatthe Armor 2.0 updatehas caused Xur’s items each week to mirror the rolls players get from pulling these items from their own Collections. As it stands, players should likely hold on to their shards if they already own the following items. Players can use the Fated Engram to pull something a little different if nothing in his inventory is appealing this week, including newer exotic items.
Here are Xur’s three gear pieces this weekend:
Verity’s Brow - Warlock helm
Unlike last week which gave Warlock’sthe popular Lunafaction boots, this week will definitely disappoint. Verity’s Brow is an exotic helm which is given to all players who finish the Warmind DLC campaign. Its exotic perk is called The Fourth Magic, which causes energy weapon kills to boost grenade energy for the player and any nearby enemies. This effect can stack up to three times.
While the item itself is definitely useful, especially when paired with strong energy weapons like Riskrunner or Recluse, the main issue is that it is an item all Warlock players should have at this point. If they don’t, the easiest way to get it is to quickly finish theWarmindcampaign and save resources for other things in the game. Because of how easy it is to get, this isn’t worth spending resources on this week.

Orpheus Rig - Hunter boots
Easily one of the most important exotic items for Nightstalker Hunters who would rather use a bow then dual knives. The Orpheus Rig boots give tether hunters a chance to get a large chunk of their super meter back. Uncanny Arrows enhances the Shadowshot super ability by giving players ability energy for each enemy tethered by Deadfall anchors. For those using Moebius Quiver, they can take more shots than usual.
While the item makes both the top and bottom Nightstalker trees even better, these boots really shine when paired with Way of the Trapper thanks to its super energy generation. For players who don’t have them yet, they’re a must buy even afterits slight nerf last year.
Actium War Rig - Titan chest armor
While not subclass specific, this exotic is actually weapon specific. When paired with an auto rifle, the Actium War Rig turns the player into a shredder. Auto-Loading Link steadily reloads a portion of your equipped Auto Rifle’s magazine from reserves. This is good news for those who plan to use Xur’s weapon this week.
Sweet Business is also a favorite weapon to pair with this armor, though any of the top tier auto rifles will work well with it. Naturally, fans of auto rifles should definitely grab this exotic, while everyone else can feel free to pass.

Exotic Weapon
For the first time, the Monte Carlo exotic auto rifle is available for purchase from Xur. This weapon wasadded to the game inside of last year’s Shadowkeep expansionand it is a returning gun from the originalDestiny. As a rifle with very high handling and reload speed, this is a solid gun and is worthy of an add.
Its intrinsic perk is called the Monte Carlo Method, which reduces melee cooldown from dealing damage with the gun and may fully charge the player’s melee ability with each kill. When paired with the Markov Chain trait, this gun gets even better. The gun itself gains increased damage and additional ammo when the players gets a melee kills as well as kills with the Monte Carlo.
