Dead Island 2takes players on a journey through LA since it has fallen victim to a mysterious Zombie virus outbreak. As one of the few immune survivors, players will explore the city to find answers and a possible escape route.
Along the way, they will pick up various collectibles, resources, and powerful weapons from defeated Zombies or inside special lockboxes hidden around the map. One such lockbox is the Laundry Room Locker in the Halperin Hotel, but the key is nowhere to be found at first. The Laundry Room Locker inDead Island 2is hidden in a staff area in the Halperin Hotel. Players will unlock the hotel location early in their playthrough during the missionRoom Service for Major Booker.
The laundry room is on the second floor of the Halperin Hotel. The hotel is full of Zombies, and due to it being a small space, players will need to stay on their guard, especially if they visit the hotel later on in the game whenthere are more Apex Zombies. Frenzy weapons and explosives are great for getting them out of a quick pinch.
Once on the second floor, follow the hallway to a pink neon Halperin Hotel sign, and the laundry room door is just past a dolly with suitcases. The laundry room locker is in the back room.
Laundry Room Locker Key Location
The Laundry Room Locker Key becomes available after thePlumbing the Depths mission. Plumbing the Depths is the 18th out of 24 main missions inDead Island 2, so it will take players a little while to make it there. However, players can fast-travel to return to the Halperin Hotel when ready to search for the key.
The Laundry Room Locker Key is in the wedding venue outside the Diamond Ballroom, where playersfought Becki the Bride. A Voltaic Screamer should be waiting in the ceremony space named Karaoke Bridesmaid. Voltaic Screamers let out a loud shrill shriek that knocks players back and lets out sparks of electricity.
Unfortunately, their screams also attract all the nearby Zombies. The best way to handle Screamers inDead Island 2is to stay close and hit them consistently orto use ranged weaponsfor a more distanced approach. After taking down the Karaoke Bridesmaid, she will drop the Laundry Room Locker Key.
Inside the Laundry Room Locker, players will findthe Electrocuter Pole Saw. The Electrocuter Pole Saw is a Superior weapon with electrocution powers when it lands consecutive hits.
