Dead by Daylight, the popular asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, is coming to mobile devices. Behaviour Interactive, the developer ofDead by Daylight, confirmed further details about the mobile port of the game. Those details includeDead by Daylight Mobile’s new release window, which will be spring 2020 in the American and European markets for iOS and Android devices.
For those unfamiliar withDead by Daylight Mobile, it’s planned to offer a strikingly similar experience to what’s already available on PC and consoles. This includes a “fully optimized” experience with the same gameplay and the same modes. It will understandably feature new controls for mobile devices and will be altered so as to make for the best mobile experience.

To kick things off, Behaviour is opening up pre-registration today for potentialDead by Daylightplayers usingGoogle Play. Depending on the number of pre-registrants, players will be rewarded with various in-game currencies and cosmetics at launch. Rewards start at 500,000 pre-registrants with tiers up to 1 million. Users on iOS can help with the effort by pre-registering on the officialDead by Daylight Mobilewebsite.
Given the types of rewards that Behaviour will be giving toDead by Daylight Mobilepre-registrants, it looks like the same type of microtransaction and progression systems will be in place for the game. Rewards include quantities ofIridescent Shards, as well as shirts, pants, and hat cosmetics.
In the same announcement, Behaviour also confirmed that it has formed apartnership with NetEaseto bringDead by Daylight Mobileto select regions in the Asian market. Confirmed regions include Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. There’s no word on when the game will officially reach these territories.
Dead by Daylightwas originally released in June 2016. It’s crazy to consider that it’s almost four years old.
