The developers are gearing up for some huge Halloween-themed events and updates. Logging in during the newDead by DaylightThe Midnight Grove event will give players a chance to celebrate the season.

The Midnight Grove is the name given to theDead By DaylightHalloween Event, which will run from October 21st to November 4th. Players will be surrounded by special themed hooks, generators, and other themed items all available through the Bloodweb. It has no shortage of spooky load screens, decorations on multiple maps, and a creepy Halloween lobby.

The Midnight Grove event welcomes a new Survivor, Mikaela Reid. The event will be filled with rewards, challenges, an extra-eerie atmosphere, and special stories written by Mikaela herself. Fans can expect new interactable jack-o-lanterns around the map for the duration of The Midnight Grove Event. Smash them to complete specific Event Tome challenges, earn Bloodpoints, and roll the dice for a small trick or treat each time in the form of a minor speed buff/debuff. Both Survivors and Killers can find and interact with these pumpkins.

TheDead by DaylightThe Midnight Grove also brings with it special outfits and charms that can be unlocked over the two-week duration of the event. Fans can look forwardto unlocking Dead by Daylight cosmeticslike the Mikaela Reid’s Witching Hour Outfit, a witchy costume Mikaela wore on-stage at the Endless Halloween Festival, and The Doctor’s extra creepy Transplant Outfit. Fans can also unlock Charms for their character such as a Black can with a witch hat.

Theevent also releasesDead by Daylight’s Tome IX: Crescendo, and it includes three brand-new tales fromDead By Daylight. Two of which will intersect with each other, with different perspectives being shown of one event. Players will experience All-Kill’s Trickster (killer) and Yun-Jin Lee (survivor) as an abduction that creates two separate journeys for each other.

Dead by Daylightis also offering players a sinister one-time login reward of 666,666 Bloodpoints just for starting up the game, be it a new player or a long-time fan.
