Cobra KaiSeason 5 has arrived, and it brought with it all the drama, action, and tense moments fans have come to expect from the series.Cobra Kaifans got to see a resolution of Miguel’s trip to Mexico, learned of Terry Silver’s dastardly plans and the return of a familiar face.
Now thatCobra KaiSeason 5 is out in the wild, talk must turn towards Season 6. Fans were left with an almostwrapped-up storyline in the finale of season 5.With another season not yet confirmed, but almost certain to happen, there are yet again many unanswered plot points and threads that simply must be answered soon.
8Will That Be The Last Of Miguel’s Father?
Miguel went through quite the identity crisis throughout season 4 ofCobra Kai. Deciding in the end not to compete in the All-Valley tournament, Miguel set off to Mexico against his mother’s wishes, to find his biological father.
Arriving in the country was not the best experience for the young champion. Miguel ended up being the victim of scammers, when he found his estranged father, Hector Salazar, he turned out to be everything his mother had warned of. Surrounded by shady dealings in the past and present, Hector, while he bonded with Miguel, remained suspicious of Miguel’s reason for being in Mexico. It’s uncertain what viewers should expect from him in Season 6.
7Will Chozen And Kumiko Become An Item?
Chozen, the villain fromKarate Kid2, returned toCobra Kaiwith a bang.Training Daniel in forbidden Miyagi-do styles of attack, Chozen showed viewers he was still a force to be reckoned with. In Cobra Kai Season 5, Chozen acts as Daniel’s trusty bodyguard and security personnel.

During a night out Chozen, lets it slip to Johnny he had feelings for Kumiko. Johnny, not able to keep a secret, tells Daniel, who then has a heart-to-heart with the warrior. Chozen drunk-dials Kumiko, telling her that he hopes to see her when he returns home. Seeing Chozen happy next season would be sure to please long-time fans of the show.
6What Will Happen With Silver?
Terry Silver took over Cobra Kai when he framed John Kreese for assault, leading to Kreese being incarcerated.Silver has always had a mean streak, and an ulterior motive in all his doings.
In the finale, after the fight in the dojo between the kids and Daniel finally defeating his old sensei, viewers see the police arrive at Cobra Kai. What was not shown was Terry Silver’s fate. It would be easy to assume he is headed to jail, but with all of his dodgy contacts and large bank balance, seeing Silver walk free would come as no surprise.
5What Will Kreese Do?
From the very firstKarate Kidmovie, it has been clear that John Kreese was a nasty piece of work. At the end of season 4, Kreese is framed by his former friend and sent to prison. Spending the entirety of season 5 behind bars, fans wondered if time was up for Kreese, after he was violently attacked in the finale.

Showing Kreese bleeding on a gurney in prison,Cobra Kaihits fans with one of its best twists yet. Kreese wasn’t injured — the whole attack was an elaborate plan from the evil mastermind to escape. With Daniel potentially having evidence to clear his name, to say that Kreese will return with fury is an understatement.
4Will Either Dojo Be Allowed In The Sekai Taikai?
The climax ofCobra KaiSeason 5was a huge showdown in the dojo between the students. Silver being exposed to his students changed many of their minds, as they threw off their gi in protest.
Terry Silver wanted to takeCobra Kaiglobal and put the limelight on the Sekai Taikai Tournament. Having both Daniel and Johnny, as well as the Cobras, pass the test made foran interesting situation heading to season 6. However, after the brawl and the police being summoned to the dojo, it could very well mean disqualification from competing in the prestigious event.
3Will Mike Barnes Come Back?
During Season 5, Daniel butted heads with a familiar face.Mike Barnes was the bad boy of karate in theKarate Kid Part 3,but these days, things have changed for this old villain.

Daniel confronts Mike, thinking he is on Silver’s side, only to find out he has broken into the workshop of his family’s furniture store. Silver later burns the shop to the ground, and Barnes assumes this was Daniel’s handiwork after their previous altercation. After he saved Johnny’s life in the finale and then was suspiciously missing from the final scene, this may not be the last of Mike Barnes.
2Who Is Tory’s Mother?
Since Season 1 ofCobra Kai, fans have learned Tory fends for herself as her mother is bedridden and unable to care for her family. This has led to Tory becoming thick-skinned and even a borderline bully at times when people push her buttons.
In scenes set in Tory’s house, fans can see the door of her mother’s bedroom ajar slightly, reminding viewers of her mother’s condition. All that can be seen of Tory’s mother is her legs, never revealing her true identity. Knowing the way the directors like tokeep the universe open forCobra Kai,the identity of her mother could very well be a familiar face.
1What Will Johnny And Daniel Name The Dojo?
After the successful demonstration of the combined dojo’s ethics and abilities, Miyagi-do and Eagle Fang both got accepted into the Sekai Taikai Tournament. The combination mashup of the two styles got the tournament organizer’s attention as an intriguing addition to their event.
Once the offer to join the tournament had been made to the two sensei, they were asked to submit a name for the entry. Miyagi-do has a storied history and could make for a logical choice.
However, Eagle Fang’s style of karate, created by Johnny, simply would not fit the Miyagi-do name. This means the two former rivals will need to create a brand-new dojo name that symbolizes the two styles whilst paying homage to the past.
