Thus far, the majority of weapons added in new seasons are not viable. The exceptions include the Grau, Bruen, AMAX, SPR, DMR, and MAC-10. The lion’s share of weapons added are always missing a key attributes that would make them competitive inWarzone. This article will explain why the new guns in Season 2 are not meta.
Fara 83
Thecurrent meta inWarzoneis a sniper support class, andbest sniper support weapon is the FFAR. To identify whether the Fara can compete with the FFAR, the two weapons should be analyzed head to head. Looking at the data and testing the weapons reveals that the FFAR is better in almost every way.
Weapon Stats And Comparison
Against enemies with three armored plates equipped, the Fara has a slower time to kill at all ranges. This is a result of the Fara’s slower fire rate at 790 rpm compared to the FFAR’s 900rpm fire rate. It gets worse for the Fara, which has a considerably slower aim down sight time and a lower bullet velocity than the FFAR. However, the worst aspect of the Fara is its reload time. It will take gamers 3.17 seconds to reload the weapon, which is an eternity for an assault rifle. There are attachments to improve reload speed, but 3.17 seconds is 69 milliseconds slower than the FFAR. The iron sight on the Fara is mediocre as well. This means that players will have to use two attachment slots to fix the reload time and add a sight.

The recoil pattern of the Fara is the nail in the coffin. The weapon kicks hard up and to the right and then abruptly to the left. It may have a worse pattern than the Cold War AK. The FFAR, which is known for its tricky S shaped pattern, has a noticeably better recoil pattern than the Fara. In its current state, the Fara is not a usable weapon inWarzone. It loses to the meta ARs in almost every category. The weapon will not fair well at range either with its terrible recoil. The weapon has a low TTK, slow reload time, and atrocious recoil. The Fara is yet another Cold War gun that is in desperate need of a buff.
LC10
There are currently fourtop-tier SMGs inWarzone, the MAC-10, Bullfrog, MP5 (MW), and MP5 (CW). Comparing the LC10 to these four weapons yields disappointing results. The LC10 does have similar stats to the meta SMGs in three key categories. The weapon has a good fire rate, good ADS speed, and acceptable bullet velocity. Despite these promising stats, the LC10 underperforms in several key areas.
The LC10 takes more than .6 seconds to kill a fully armored enemy at ten meters or less. The four other SMGs will down enemies within ten meters between .49 and .55 seconds. These differences seem minute, but they have a huge impact in-game. Players that use the meta weapons will be able to miss a few shots and still beat the LC10 within ten meters. There is a small range advantage for the LC10 between about 15 meters and 25 meters. Even with the small range advantage at those distances, players should avoid the gun. SMGs are close-range weapons, and gamers will rarely be using an SMG beyond 15 meters. Time to kill is more important with SMGs than other weapons because players will hit more of their shots at close range. The weapon needs to dominate up close, but it falls short of the weapons listed above. Gamers may have a few rogue kills that make the gun seem viable due to its headshot values, but these are rare instances.

In terms of accuracy, the LC10 is actually very good. Like the Cold War MP5, the LC10 has an entirely vertical recoil pattern. Surprisingly, the LC10 has one of the best recoil patterns of any gun in the game. Recoil is important, but the weapon needs to at least have competitive damage values as well. The Bullfrog has a very similar recoil pattern with a higher TTK up close. Players should be using the Bullfrog if they want to use a low recoil SMG. The LC10 is not very good when compared to the FFAR either, making it a poor choice as a sniper support class. The iron sights on the LC10 are decent, but players will probably want a red dot instead. While the weapon can be used inWarzone, there is no reason to choose it over the meta SMGs. Franky, there is currently no reason to use any weapon other than the FFAR up close.
