In a new clip posted to the r/CODWarzone subreddit, Redditor mackeydesigns shows off their impressive, long-range takedown of an enemy usingCall of Duty: Warzone 2’s deadlydrill charge throwable. The short video shows mackeydesigns holed up in an office building and exchanging fire with an enemy on a distant rooftop before the enemy drops to street level to escape the fight. Not letting their opponent get away that easily, mackeydesigns pulls a drill charge from their inventory before stepping back, aiming high, and letting it loose in an impressive arc that sees it land on the fleeing foe and eliminate them.

Fans ofCall of Duty: Warzone 2responding to the impressive clip were in awe of the incredible accuracy on display. One user pondered what the killcam view must have been like for the fallen foe, leading a respondent to state that they wouldn’t be mad if they’d been the one on the receiving end of the throw but would probably take it “as a sign that this was the last game of the night.” Another Redditor joked that they would be using throwables as mortars from now on after witnessing the impressive elimination. Making a connection between the accuracy of the drill charge toss and the late NBA player’s talent for sinking long-distance shots, other responses simply exclaimed “KOBE!”

While some might rush to blamecheaters inCall of Duty: Warzone 2after finding themselves unexpectedly dispatched from across the map, this video shows that a well-placed throw can sometimes be just as deadly as an aimbot. And after seeing this impressive clip, someWarzone 2players may start keeping their eyes skyward to make sure they’re not the next one to end up on the business end of a descending drill charge.
