On Twitter, CharlieIntel pointed toward the grand prize ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s open beta, a unique operator skin called Tester. Fittingly, the skin is a red crash test dummy kitted out with military gear and is for a multiplayer operator named Jabber, who is presumably a new operator yet to be revealed inModern Warfare 3. Beta players will have to reach level 30 to unlock the Jabber Tester skin, which means it’ll only be available during the second weekend, as the first weekend is capped at level 20.

What is the Max Level in the Modern Warfare 3 Open Beta?

It’s important to note that Jabber’s Tester skin will only be available to use inModern Warfare 3and inWarzoneonce they integrate. Those who unlock the skin during the beta will have to wait a few weeks until the game’s full launch to use it again. There’s a bit of concern for players on Xbox and PC who didn’t pre-order to gain early access to the beta, as those players will only have three days, from October 14-16 to grind 30 levels for the Tester skin. Conversely, players on PlayStation will have the first weekend to hit level 20, and then will only need to grind ten levels for the skin during the second weekend.

It’ll be interesting to see whether this Jabber Tester skin will become available once again inModern Warfare 3for players who missed out on the beta or weren’t quick enough to hit level 30. Though considering the skin’s emphasis on testing, this seems unlikely. As for this mysterious new multiplayer operator Jabber, fans will have to wait untilModern Warfare 3’s full releaseto learn more about them.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on November 10.
