OneCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2player discovers an interesting killcam element to the Crown Raceway multiplayer map after getting hit by a racecar during a match. Easter eggs and interesting design decisions are nothing new to the gaming industry as most developers tend to hide things for players to find. This can be things like teases to upcoming content, slight nods to the community, or adding a long-running feature like theTeddy Bears found throughout mostCall of Dutycampaigns.

The recently releasedModern Warfare 2continues this trend with a variety of interesting design decisions and hidden Easter eggs from both the campaign and multiplayer sides of the game. Already, fans have foundmultiple references to the iconic TV showBreaking Bad, both in the campaign as well as in the multiplayer. Players are also more than likely to test the limits of what games can do, attempting to break outside the map or seeing how something interacts with something else. In this case, one fan found their way onto the race track in the Crown Raceway map, only to discover an interesting inclusion.

Capturing a video and posting it to theCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2subreddit, a user named TheyCallMeProphet discovered that the racecars on the track actually have killcams if they somehow run over players. While the track itself is typically inaccessible and fenced off, this player admitted to using a complicated technique to glitch their way on and finding just enough room to cancel out the out-of-bounds timer. While waiting on the yellow strip off to the side, the player is mowed down by a car and then shown a replay of the death from the perspective of the F1 race car.

Naturally, this revelation surprised most, though many commented more about the strange racing line the cars took, with some even indicating the cars appeared to target the player. Others attempted to theorize why the cars were coded with killcams, with the most likely solution that at one point, the track itself was in the middle ofthe Crown Raceway mapintending to be a hazard. At some point, Infinity Ward ultimately moved the track out of the way, but left the cams active.

Whatever the case may be, this likely won’t be the last revelation fans discover about Call of DUty: Modern Warfare 2.
