Call of Duty Mobiledeveloper TiMi Studios consistently teases its fans, and one of the latest teasers was about a new version of Shipment. Today, the teaser was realized, with theCall of Duty Mobilerework shown off in a short teaser video.
Theversion of Shipmentthat has been inCall of Duty Mobileup until now was called Shipment 1944, and it took on the layout of the map that debuted back inCall of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Despite first appearing in 2007, the map has stood the test of time, as it was remastered several times — including an appearance inCall of Duty: WW2. While theCall of Duty Mobileversion is aesthetically different, it is structurally the same, boasting the same layout as the original version of the map.

However,Call of Duty Mobileis once againpulling fromCall of Duty: Modern Warfare2019, as that game’s version of Shipment is now being added to the on-the-go FPS, too. Just as small and cramped but having crates in different positions, this take on Shipment quickly became a fan favorite in the reboot ofModern Warfare. Several Shipment 24/7 playlists were added to the game throughout its life cycle, with the remixed map providing a style of gameplay that was just as hectic and messy as the original.
Now, Shipment 2019 is coming toCall of Duty Mobilein all its glory. Boasting the exact same layout as well as the same modern design, nothing has changed from theCall of Duty: Modern Warfareversion and thisCall of Duty Mobileport. Arriving as part of Season 2, players can expect to see the map in regular game modes as well as 2v2 and 3v3 playlists. Witha new Sniper Riflecoming in Season 2 as well, players will have the perfect map to grind out camos on.
TheCall of Duty Mobilefanbase seems thrilled about the addition, as several replies see fans sharing their approval of the addition. That said, a few commenters have asked for insight on Zombies mode. Twitter user @Shushem1, for example, jokes that they will give the game a 1-star rating on the App Store if the mode is not added. With all the hype for Zombies content coming from a recentCall of Duty Mobilesurveythat suggested the mode’s comeback was possible, TiMi Studios will likely have to deal with questions about the mode for some time now.
Regardless of whether a Zombies mode makes another appearance in the game, though,Call of Duty Mobileplayersknow for sure that they will soon be playing on Shipment yet again. While the map is not everyone’s cup of tea, many do love it, something that makes its return a welcome one.
Call of Duty Mobileis available now on Android and iOS mobile devices.
