In the upcomingCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War2v2 Gunfight game mode, players will enter small arenas to test their skills.Similar toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’sGunfight, the players' loadouts will be randomized. The objective is to eliminate the other team swiftly through teamwork and skill across a wide variety of different battlefields. During the mode’s launch, weapon and map selection may be limited, similar toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’slaunch when the game mode debuted. Still, fans found their way around the environment easily, as varying tactics for success were quickly crafted by the community.

For those who did not have a chance toplay inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’sGunfight mode, the idea is simple. Players participate in a 40-second round with a win limit of six rounds. Two teams of two go head to head across several maps using random loadouts, every two rounds theteams switch sides on the various Gunfight maps.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Gunfight is designed to be played with a teammate. Players are advised to bring in a friend rather than relying on random pairings. One of the downsides of Gunfight is that if a player does quit the match, the remaining player must continue without any substitutions. This does mean that if an ally player leaves the 2v2 fight will quickly become a 1v2 situation for the remaining player resulting in a more difficult situation.

Players already got a taste ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warduring the Alphaand Beta phases of the game. As the game moves into a full launch players can experience improved weapon balancing that is sure to bring a much-needed flair to the 2v2 Gunfight experience.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waris set to release on November 13th for PC, Ps4, Ps5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
