Call of Dutyfirst teamed up withThe Boysfor a collaboration in July 2023 duringSeason 4 Reloaded ofModern Warfare 2andWarzone. At the time, players were able to purchase operator bundles featuring Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir for 2,400 COD points each, or roughly $20. Alongside the operator skin for each character, players would receive various weapon blueprints and accessories with their purchase as well. These same three bundles are now available inModern Warfare 3Season 1 Reloaded alongside a new limited-time mode, and more bundles featuring characters fromThe Boysare on the way.
WithThe Boyscrossover eventbeing underway, theCall of Dutydevelopers confirm that the new A-Train operator bundle is now available inModern Warfare 3andWarzone. The new Firecracker bundle will be released just a week later, on January 30. According to Sledgehammer Games, the likenesses and voices of actors Jessie T. Usher (A-Train) and Valorie Curry (Firecracker) are featured in the bundles. Like the previous operator bundles, players may purchase the A-Train and Firecracker bundles from the in-game store for 2,400 COD points.
Modern Warfare 3players may test outthe new A-Train operator skinin a “Supe’d Up” version of Kill Confirmed inspired byThe Boys. Instead of dog tags, fallen operators will drop doses of Temp V, granting players temporary power boosts with each confirmed kill. For example, players may unlock Heat Vision after retrieving a Temp V dose. This new version of Kill Confirmed will be available until early February.
AlthoughModern Warfare 3Season 2is approaching next month, fans ofThe Boysstill have time to enjoy the new limited-time mode, purchase a new bundle, and complete event challenges to earn free rewards. Players who complete all the challenges during the crossover event will obtain a special LMG blueprint inspired byThe Boys, which should pair well with one of the new operator skins.
