Breaking Badstars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are set to reunite as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in a new PopCorners commercial for Super Bowl LVII. Now, PopCorners has unveiled a new preview of the commercial, and fans may recognize the scene.
Breaking Badconcluded nearly a decade ago, but the AMC series is still regarded by many as one of television’s best shows in history. PopCorners is aiming to capitalize on the show’s popularity with aBreaking BadSuper Bowl commercial, and the snack company has unveiled teasers for the ad ahead of the commercial’s debut during the game.

Paul’s Jesse Pinkman wasseen in aBreaking Badcommercial teaserreleased mid-January, but he was only shown from behind and without the company of Cranston’s White. Now, PopCorners has unveiled a new teaser in which Paul’s Pinkman tries to start their mobile meth lab RV with no success, prompting Walt to warn him about flooding. Paul’s Pinkman can start the RV, but Walt is unimpressed, saying, “Even a blind squirrel…”
Fans might recognize the scene from amemorableBreaking Badepisode, “4 Days Out.” The ninth episode ofBreaking Badseason 2 followed Walt and Jesse while they were stranded in the desert after failing to start their RV. Of course, PopCorners' commercial distinguishes itself from theBreaking Badepisode by having Walt eating a bag of their chips.
TheSuper Commercial will also feature Raymond Cruz as Tuco Salamanca, a drug distributor and kingpin who clashed with Walt until his death. Tuco Salamanca was also one of theBreaking Badcharacters who appeared inBetter Call Saul, which was the last time fans saw him.Breaking BadandBetter Call Saulcreator Vince Gilligan returned to direct the Super Bowl commercial and the teasers building toward it.
AlthoughBreaking Badended in 2013, the series was not the last fans saw of Cranston as White and Paul as Pinkman. Both made cameo appearances in theBetter Call Saulseries finale. Paul also starred in a feature film titledEl Camino, which followed Pinkman in the immediate aftermath ofBreaking Bad’s series finale. Still, fans are excited to see the two actors reunite as their most iconic characters, even if it’s for a Super Bowl commercial.
