Himawari Uzumaki is the daughter of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga. She is a somewhat important character inBoruto: Naruto Next Generations, however, hasn’t had much of a contribution to the story just yet. Being the daughterof the Seventh Hokage, it goes without saying that Himawari will eventually play a significant role in the story.

Fans have already seen how much potential she carries and she is also an incredibly fun character to follow in the story. At the same time,Himawari also possesses some scary powersthat are hidden deep inside her. Fans have not seen them just yet, however, recently, some details about her powers were revealed.
Himawari’s Skill As A Prodigy
Himawari and Boruto are the same yet very different when compared to each other. Both of them are known to be prodigious children, which is expected of someone with the blood of the Seventh Hokage, along withthat of a powerful Hyuga, such as Hinata. At the same time, both of them were born without a Dojutsu, but, went on to manifest them later on in the story. However, the ocular powers that they manifested were completely different from each other. Boruto Uzumaki is a wielder of the Jogan. This power awakened within him during the days of the Academy. So far, he still has not gained full control over it and doesn’t know about its functioning all that well.
Meanwhile, Himawari went on to awaken the powers of the Byakugan. While the Byakugan is usually something that all Hyuga members possess right from birth, Himawari’s case was different, for some reason. She tapped into this power when Boruto once took her toy and she got enraged. In this process, she went on to knock outthe 7th Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, with a single blow, which is nothing short of staggering, especially for a child such as herself. While the majority of the fans laughed it off, it now appears that it did, in fact, hold a lot of significance.
The Strong Otsutsuki Connection
Himawari Uzumaki seems to have some powers relatedto the Otsutsuki clanwithin herself. This was hinted recently inBoruto, when Daemon thought that no one around could give him a fight or pose any threat to him, except for Himawari. This was rather strange as fans know Daemon to be incredibly powerful. He is someone who could even beat Boruto and Kawaki with ease and even put up a fight against Jigen, or someone even stronger, without putting in too much effort. Yet, he claimed that within Himawari was a beast and that she could match him in battle or, at the very least, pose some sort of a challenge to him.

Boruto dismissed this as he did not believe that his sister would have some sort of hidden powers strong enough to match the likes of Daemon. However, when one thinks about it, it isn’t far-fetched to believe that she is this strong. Himawari has inherited the chakra of the Seventh Hokage, who himself held the Six Paths chakra from Hagoromo Otsutsuki. At the same time, her mother, Hinata, inherited the powers of Hamura in The Last: Naruto the Movie. Just as Boruto was born with a strong affinity for the Otsutsuki power, so does Himawari have great powers related to the Otsutsuki.
How Skilled Will Himawari Be In The Future?
In the future, Himawari is likely to become an extremely powerful fighter. Although she is just at the beginning of her journey as a ninja right now, Daemon has already implied that she has terrific power hidden within herself. It is unsure how exactly her Otsutsuki power will manifest, however, she is likely going to be on the same level as that of Daemon in the future. Fans already know that he is strong enough to deal with some of the mightiest characters seen in the story and, as such, Himawari is going to be just as capable when she awakens this pow er.
Curiously, this would also put her close to the level of her brother, Boruto Uzumaki, who is currently weaker than Daemon. What’s more, this also means that Himawari will surpass both her parents. Hinata isn’t all that powerful while Naruto Uzumaki has now been severely nerfed. Given the fact that Himawari has already knocked out Naruto once, it appears that was only a glimpse of what the future holds for this character. She appears to be set on the path to surpass her father’s legacy. How exactly she will come into play in the future ofBorutoremains to be seen, however, fans can rest assured that she will play a significant role moving forward.
