Borderlands 3has no shortage of memorable characters, and the four playable Vault Hunters are no exception. Fans have grown particularly attached to Zane, with oneBorderlands 3player sharing several pieces of artwork based on the character.
There are several reasons thatBorderlands 3fans adore Zane, with the most obvious being his personality. An avid drinker with a great sense of humor, Zane always has a great quip to deliver in response to some dialogue or when gunning down some enemies. Boasting a cybernetic eye, a close bond with a digi-clone, and a past withcharacters like Zer0and Moxxi, there are a lot of things to take in when it comes to the character.

Reddit user Issinder took theirlove for Zaneto a new level, however, as they have shared several pieces based on the 50-year-old killer. The most recent piece shows him pointing with one of his quotes behind him. The drawing of Zane is full of little touches, with lines seen on the yellow part of his jacket and details visible across the outside portion of the coat. His hair and facial expression are a perfect match as well, and even though this post would have been cool on its own, the artist has shared several others on theBorderlands 3subreddit.
One thing that makes this collection ofBorderlandsfan artso special is the fact that the artist showcases so many different styles. For instance, one neat image looks like something straight out of a comic book, as Zane is seen laughing with a drink in his hand. Behind him, numerous depictions of the word “ha” can be seen, with the artwork resembling something one would see in a comic starring the Batman villain Joker. Given the fact that Zane has a drink in-hand, though, he is likely just having fun in one of the assassin bars he used to attend with Zer0.
Another great image sees Zane in a chibi style, with the drawing reminiscent of what someone would see if the big head modifier came up inBorderlands 3’s Mayhem Mode. Zane looks hilarious and adorable in this image, with a slight smirk seen on his face. This same art style is carried over to the next piece, which sees Issinder recreating a meme. After inhaling, Zane says “boyo” instead of “boy,” with the artist clearly having a bit of fun with the Vault Hunter’s accent.
While fans have shown some love forplenty ofBorderlandscharacters, it is nice to see Zane getting so much love from the community. While it is unclear what his role could be inBorderlands 4, or if he will even have one, Issinder and many others would clearly be happy to see more of him.
