This custom console features the most well-known character in theBorderlandsuniverse: CL4P-TP.
This new Xbox giveaway comes right at theend of the Taco Bell Xbox Sweepstakes. Gamers who didn’t find a console in their soda can try for this special one instead. The official giveaway starts November 9, and the rules and details will likely be announced closer to that date. 2K specifies that there is only one of this Claptrap Xbox, so it truly is something special to win.

CL4P-TP–or Claptrap, as he is known to his friends–has been featured in everyBorderlandsgame in some form or another. InBorderlands 1andBorderlands 2, he starts the player on their journey by providing the tutorial.Claptrap is a playable class in thePre-Sequeland truly embodies the mayhem thatBorderlandsis all about. Although he is not a playable class inBorderlands 3, Claptrap is still there to provide terrible jokes and wholesome quests.
This release comes at a great time forBorderlands 3. With the recent announcement of asecond Season Pass forBorderlands 3, as well as new skill trees for all four of the playable characters, it seems like the game is as big as ever right now. Many players that gave up on the farming and looting are now coming back to rejoin their fellow vault hunters. While Claptrap is one of the more divisive characters—being as loved by many as he is hated by others—he is a perfect ambassador for the game’s resurgence.
The console itself, which features Claptrap limbless posing in his box form, is not the strangest console gamers have seen.
