Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis right around the corner, and Gearbox has started marketing the looter shooter in full force. Alongside trailers that highlight each of the game’s classes and some footage of the Overworld map in action, fans have gotten a look at theChaos Chamber endgame contentas well as the Season Pass, both of which focus on keeping gamers engaged long after they have finished the main story. However, it seems like Gearbox is still keepingBorderlands 3in mind.

While the focus is undoubtedly shifting toTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, asBorderlands 3’s post-launch support came to an end with the release of the Director’s Cut, it is nice to see a small addition made to the game through some newly announced loyalty rewards. The concept of loyalty rewards is an excellent gesture that rewards those that have stuck by the series, and it is a trend that should continue to be seen asBorderlandscontinues to grow.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and Borderlands 3 Loyalty Content

Not only is there afree cosmetic pack forTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsfansto claim, but Gearbox has introduced two special loyalty rewards for those that own bothBorderlands 3and the soon-to-be-releasedTiny Tina’s Wonderlands. By playing both games through one Shift account, gamers can obtain a special item in each, with said items being sent through the in-game mail system.

InTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, players will be able to use a custom banner dubbed Hunter of Vaults. The background of this banner is a stylish red color, with a yellowVault symbolseen as well. The other item is even more exciting, asBorderlands 3players will be able to use the TNTina pistol. A Torgue weapon, it lives up to its name, with the explosive gun being perfect for Tina due to both its functionality and its aesthetic.

It’s worth noting that the TNTina pistol can also be unlocked throughthe Guardian Breach Takedown. It will be a random drop from the first boss, Anathema the Relentless, though players will have to put in some work to get the gun this way. Regardless, this is a great gesture on Gearbox’s part, as it shows an appreciation for those that love the series. Going forward, the publisher should continue using programs like this, rewarding the biggest fans of the games.

What Future Loyalty Content For Borderlands Could Provide

The upcomingBorderlandsmoviewill provide Gearbox with another opportunity to deliver some loyalty rewards. Select theaters could provide Shift codes alongsideBorderlandsmovie tickets, which could allow players to unlock some cosmetics based on the film. This could be anything from reskinned character models forBorderlands 3that look more like the cast of the movie to a weapon that pays homage to a standout scene from the film.

Likewise, wheneverBorderlands 4releases, Gearbox could do the same thing it is doing with theBorderlands 3andTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsrewards. Next time, special weapons and comsetics could be provided for players that use the same Shift account withinTiny Tina’s WonderlandsandBorderlands 4, giving owners something in the next game and the active title. While content like the TNTina pistol is small in the grand scheme of things, little bonuses like this go a long way to raising player morale. As such, Gearbox should ensure they continue, regularly dropping new loyalty rewards for the community.
