With many smaller tweaks regarding weapon balance and combat difficulty, this is a good option for the veterans of the series, allowing them to spruce up a familiar system and try out a very different feel for the many battles ahead.
7Unlimited Sprint And Boost Duration
While this is somewhat self-explanatory, this mod makes lifesomuch better for the player. Shepard’s journey is filled with long and strenuous treks that would surely put most people out of commission for a week, but that doesn’t make hearing their hard, ragged breathing every 5 seconds any better.
While it can bea little overpowered during combat, this mod just makes exploration exponentially more enjoyable. Needing to cross massive compounds and planet sites on foot or even on a vehicle is no small task, and doing so with unlimited sprinting and boosting makes the whole process much faster, and backtracking is not such an issue anymore.
6Combat Remastered
This mod takes a very deep look at the combat system in the game and makes a lot of changes to both the visual and the technical aspects of weapons and enemies. With new custom animations and sound effects, Shepard’s arsenal feels a lot more impactful and powerful, bringing gunplay satisfaction to a new level.

With many balance changes and weapon additions, the combat feels very different and may take some time to get used to for those very familiar with the system. Another interesting change is the enemies’ incredible accuracy, which has been brought down to reflect their actual stats and weapon modifiers, allowing players to make more tactical choices and movements on the battlefield.
5DLC Timings Mod
This mod works to improve some timings for DLC missions, specifically for when they become available to the player. The aim is to bring a more immersive experience and fix some of the possible timing fallacies, like engaging in the Shadow Broker mission before meeting Liara.
It is a great mod that provides a smoother experience, with certain questlines making much more sense upon closer inspection, and overall improving theflow of the wonderful story. As always, carefully read the instructions provided by the Author, as some mods may collide or work improperly with each other.
4Safely Skip Conversations
This is just a great QOL improvement to the dialogue system that prevents the accidental choosing of random options when trying to skip dialogue. Whether some players prefer to read the subtitles faster than listening to them, or simply do not care that much about what the character has to say, they can safely skip to the dialogue wheel without risking choosing an undesirable outcome.

It is a good mod to have if only to prevent the unfortunate misclicks and having to reload a previous save to salvage a ruined conversation.
3Early Recruitment
Amazing companions have always been one of the cornerstones of the series, and it makes sense that some players want to getback with their buddies as quickly as possible, without having to do many missions without them. This mod makes many of the possible companions available at a much earlier stage in the game.
While getting some companions too early might interfere with the overall timeline a little, for some it is an easy price to pay. Interestingly enough, some companions like Tali even have unique dialogue options when interacting with previously impossible missions.

As great and polished as the game is, it is unfortunately not completely without bugs and issues. The great team of modders has compiled many bug-fixing mods in this collection and has added countless changes to address several problems that the players were facing.
