However, even with so many options, sometimes players can feel like the base game is a little restrictive, which is where mods like those on this list come in to play. While some of the mods take a more conservative approach and simply add a few more pieces of attire, others take risks and introduce interesting elements that many players will certainly fall in love with.
18Cloaks Of Faerun

TheCloaks of Faerûnmod is a very interesting one, as instead of focusing on armor and other more “visible” elements, it chooses to pay attention to one typically overlooked aspect—cloaks.
This mod adds a total of 33 new cloaks, which range from Common to Uncommon cloaks, and also adds Rare, Very Rare, and Legendary cloaks. While it’s still a work in progress, Cloaks of Faerûn offers a ton of variety for players who are bothered by the lack of cloak variety in the base game.

Luckily, Transmog Enhanced comes in to save the day and provides players with the modding options they need to wear anything and everything without sacrificing the stats of their armor.
Transmog Enhanced allows players to change teh appearance of their equipable items, including modded items, so that they can have a different visual appearance to the actual armor that they are wearing. It’s a great upgrade to the RPG styles that players love, and while it doesn’t add new cosmetics, it does open an infinite web of them.

The Githyanki are one of the many interesting aspects of Baldur’s Gate 3, and they definitely deserve the attention that the game provides them. However, they are rather limited in their cosmetics, and its mainly just their silver armor that’s present. With the Gothyanki Gear, players can add a bit more style to this race.
The Gothyanki Gear provides new leathers and themes, from cosmetics for brawlers, warlocks, pirates, and more. Plenty of cosmetic choices for the Githyanki certainly fit their character, and the outfits themselves seem very on-brand.

Whilst this mod won’t add any new outfits, it might help the players out there who can’t seem to walk or enter sneak without exposing their lower regions. It will certainly help with immersion, as players can run around freely without worrying about genital jumpscare.

The detail and design of these outfits make for a beautiful, yet intimidating appearance, providing players with an assortment of designs to make them fit into the world as rulers, killers, and everything in between.
Players can only use these armors on body type 1, which is somewhat of a disadvantage of the mod, but that doesn’t discredit the detail of these costumes. An assortment of gothic-themed outfits that Shadowheart is sure to love will certainly aid the fashion sense of Tav and company.

These dyes were intricately created using the base values of NPC outfits, allowing players to match their own and their companion’s sets with new color schemes that better fit into the world. These days even have extended parameters that help to support other modded outfits, allowing versatile use of new colors that can really make old outfits seem brand new.
The colors on these dyes are like nothing seen in the player-crafted dyes, and they really help to add further tones to the costumes that Tav and their companions can wear across the world. It might not be a snazzy new outfit, but it will make it feel like it with an array of colors.

Players can find an array of unique designs, although some of the choices might be a tad skimpy. Whether it’s an open-back dress or one that gives off a mystical allure, these are dresses that even Mystra herself would desire for herself.
