However, it is not only the universe that the games share, but it also seems that some of the files that were used in the development ofApex Legends also belonged toTitanfalland this complicates what weapon the dataminers may have found before the release of Season 6.

A weapon codenamed “Predator” was found in the code forApex Legendsand its neighboring code also noted “shell drops.” With these factors in mind, it seems that a new rifle or shotgun may be being introduced to the game. This code does run contrary to a bow that was spotted in the recentApex LegendsSeason 6 trailer but both weapons could be coming to the game and this particular information could be connected to another weapon which featured in other promotional material. Some players believe that “Predator” will be a rifle that was spotted by fans during the Season 6 dev stream.
Season 6 ofApex Legendshas now launched and it will be interesting to see what weapons players uncover alongside new characters and skins. Some content will likely be available sooner than others and this raises the issue of interpreting with datamining findings. While these files may one day enter the game, it is unclear when or how they will be used, and given the fact that files fromTitanfallhave found themselves in the game, this weapon may never actually debut in the game. With that said, it would be surprising if fans were not treated to a new weapon in this new season.
