New furniture is being added to the game as well, including one in particular that many fans had been asking about for the last year.
The specificAnimal Crossing: New HorizonsDirect went over all of the new features being added on November 5, including paid DLC calledHappy Home Paradise.Happy Home Paradiseis almost like a sequel to the interior designAnimal Crossingspin-off gameHappy Home Designer. As part of the DLC and the update, a bunch of new furniture seems to be coming to the game. Eagle-eyed fans, though, saw one in particular in a few rooms shown off in the Direct.

To the delight of many fans, the Froggy Chair has been spotted in the Direct, being part of both a player’s house and a custom design inHappy Home Paradise. The chair has been part of the Froggy set of furniture ever since the original titleon the GameCube. Despite the chair being in everyAnimal Crossingtitle to date, it wasn’t inNew Horizonsuntil now.
The fans who’ve missed the cute chair for the last year are obviously excited, taking to social media to share their excitement. “Froggy Chair” in all capital letters has ended up trending on different platformsalongsideAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsdue to the excitement. Many of the posts deal with the many memes they’ve made while waiting for the chair’s inclusion.
It’s not known yet just how the chair will be obtained in the title. The update featured not only the content coming to the game for free, but also what’s coming as part of theHappy Home ParadiseDLC, which players need to pay for. There may be a chance that the Froggy Chair might be available for those who buy the extra content, but there won’t be a way to tell until the update and DLC come out.
Just the fact that the chair has finally founda place inAnimal Crossing: New Horizonshas been enough to excite fans, so not too many players have been worried about that. Hopefully tons of fans will enjoy customizing all sorts of homes, rooms, and vacation homes with the chair once the content arrives.
